I took in my Beagle puppy Lucy to complete her annual exam, vaccines and nail trim. Lucy as very excited to be there and wanted to roam and explore the whole clinic. The staff allowed us into the exam room 20 minutes before our appointment.
The veterinary technician was friendly with Lucy and played briefly with Lucy and gave her a nail trim. After I painted her nails for a Beagle party, she squeaked and struggled when anyone handled her nails. The nail trim was much quicker than at PetsMart, so the squeaking time was minimal.
Dr. Anda was also friendly and came in a few minutes later to give the vaccines, which did not phase Lucy at all. She answered my questions skillfully and concisely.
This clinic is traditional in its approach to veterinary care. I would bring Lucy back to this clinic again, even though my approach is more holistic and naturopathic.

Dr Anda and the staff at Army Trail Animal Hospital are awesome. I have been to several vets in the neighborhood, 3 others to be exact, and this one outshines them all! My baby girl, Cheetah, has stomatitis and Dr Anda is the only one to correctly diagnose her and actually trying her best to treat the disease and explain the disease to me instead of making me feel like my cat (my child) is just another dollar. Her and her team have been doing everything possible to help her. They are always there to listen and always there to give you advice. I recommend this place 100%

Had to find a vet for our cat after our regular vet closed. Came across Army Trail Animal Hospital here on Unilocal and saw the positive reviews. I can add another one after our visit, they really are a great business! Everyone from the front desk to the techs to Dr. Anda were really helpful and walked us through every step and treatment options. I’ve been to a lot of vets over the years but none this good. I plan to now move all my pets over to Dr. Anda. And happily, our cat is back to feeling better after treatment yesterday. I’m really happy I found this place, and highly recommend them!

I like these folks. They are professional, get it done, always take the time to answer questions and explain what they are doing and why.
In general they seem thoughtful, deliberate and knowledgeable about what they are doing.
I’ve never felt like I was being rushed out and have always thought they did a good job of caring for our dogs.

I love Army Trail Animal Hospital! They are so gentle and caring with my dogs. My mom and sister even started going to them and liked them a great deal. Even when I moved out to Westmont, I still continue to make the drive since I haven’t found a vet my dogs trust more.

Army Trail Animal Hospital LLC does an amazing job! We recently acquired a potbelly pig and were unable to find any vet who would work on our little guy. They have done an amazing job with him. Staff is very nice and friendly! It is super clean and a great atmosphere. We will be taking our other animals there for their vet work!

Dr. Anda has been taking care of my pets (from as little as a hamster to as big as my … shih tzus :)) for over 6 years now. I drive all the way from Grayslake, Illinois to see her! She is extremely caring towards them, and always offers the BEST care possible.
When my pup, Wolfgang, was recently in for a routine dental cleaning — he ended up being diagnosed with bladder stones through a series of events and tests. Her staff spent all day caring for him and did his emergency surgery there and then. No rescheduling or sending to emergency hospital with this clinic — Dr. Anda will rearrange anything she can to make sure she can take care of your pet ASAP. Not to mention she is an EXCELLENT surgeon. The incision for the bladder stone removal surgery was smaller than most spay incisions! The quality of care that you receive at Army Trail Animal Hospital for the price that is charged can absolutely not be beat.
No need to worry when putting the care of your babies in the hands of Dr. Anda and her staff– this is the best care you can get.
