A&D was great to work with. We had a slow start with one of their guys getting sick but the offered me a discount and completed the work on the next visit with no issues. Very happy with the company.

We had a back up at our house and contacted A&D right away. They got back to us right away, I would say within 10 minutes. They said they were not able to come out until the following week which wouldn’t work for us. But instead of just writing us off after we told them we would look somewhere else, they told us all the possible causes for our problems and told us to contact them if we had any questions.
Even though we were unable to use their services, customer service like this is what makes me want to call them for the next plumbing issue.

My wife were in a bind with our hot water heater going out on a Saturday. Debbie responded almost immediately. They came out on Monday morning replaced the tank for us. Matt was great. Top notch, very friendly, conscious of protecting flooring and very informative. Would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!!!

These guys are awesome, sent them a message late Sunday night via the website and had a response shortly there after that they would call first thing in the morning and they did! They were able to come out Tuesday morning, talked me through everything and gave me options. They cut out the PVC pipe that was damaged and gave me some tips on what I could do as well. They laid down blankets from the front door all the way to the crawl space. Pricing was great and way lower than I had received quotes from others. On top of all that they are really nice guys and easy to talk to, like having some of your buddies over and helping you fix your plumbing! Would highly recommend them and if I ever need to will be calling them right away!

We needed a hot water heater replaced and called A & D on a Thursday based on good reviews. Originally they thought they couldn’t get here until Wednesday, but called back and said they could get here on Monday. Debbie called this morning to give me a time span of when they would be here and they were prompt. The job took less than 2 hours. Matt and Brandon were very professional, courteous and answered all my questions. I highly recommend A & D Total Plumbing & Sewer.

Courteous and prompt, I needed a faucet leak checked after an inspection on my home for sale in Bartlett. Scheduling was easy estimate was accurate and service was fast and thorough. Would recommend highly.

I had a Moen shower cartridge that broke off inside the valve. Came looking on Unilocal for a plumber to help get it out. Called several plumbers, but Debbie at A&D was willing to give an approx quote. Matt and Brandon came out on time and were able to get the old one out and put in the new one. Honestly they saved us from having to replace the whole valve which would have meant tearing up the tile. These guys are a local, family owned company and I’m glad to have given them my business. Best company ever. We had many quotes from plumbers around the area. All were much higher plus took forever to return our calls. We have used A & D several times now for business and residential use. Debbie always gets back to use to let us know when Matt and Brandon will be out. We never had to wait but once and that was a family emergency. They called us from the hospital. That’s great customer service!
Brandon and Matt always explain what they will be doing. Show us what they have completed and explain why and what they have done. They make sure we don’t have any questions before they leave. Clean, neat and tidy plumbers for what they have to do.

I went with A & D to replace a sillcock on my patio. Brandon arrived in a timely manner and was very polite. He first tried to rebuild the faucet and save me money but inevitably the silllcock needed to be replaced. It was located behind a sheet of drywall and Brandon did a neat job cutting a 10″ x 10″ access panel. The best news of all was the bill. This folks do quality work at a fair price. Don’t do anything major without a quote from A & D!

What a welcome relief to find a reliable plumber with reasonable prices. Tony and Brandon came right on time and took care to lay out tarp from the doorway to my kitchen sink. They quickly and courteously addressed my initial plumbing problem and I then had them fix a nuisance problem with my outside spigot. They also took time to explain, in detail, all the questions I had about our basement plumbing, i.e. ejector pump, sump pump, etc. I am very pleased with their work and fair prices. It’s clear that they are committed to building long-​term relationships with their customers and I am confident I will be one of them!

If I could give the ZERO stars I would! My home warranty company sent these people out to my house. They were nice for the whole 5mins they were here to fix my stoppage. They said sorry we cant find your clean out we cant do anything… Then said if we wanted them to put a clean our in it would cost $ 950. I called another company. and they installed a clean out for $ 100!!! Then when we called them back… the next morning and said hey we have a clean out…(because we have the warranty they are required to come back and clean out the stoppage we already paid them for) Wh called them Friday morning, mind you they were here Thursday afternoon. So less that 12hrs later .and told them hey I need you to come back out. They said NO they cant get it it until Monday. HELLO I have kids. I cant use the bathroom. I can’t cook NOTHING and they are telling me sorry after I already paid them. The guy on the phone was RUDE and didn’t care at all about our situation! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE and there rated at F with the Better Business Bureau!

Excellent work. Clean professional and courteous. Explained what needed to be done in terms I could understand and explained all alternatives. I received cost estimates for each alternative and pros and cons for each. This was actually a pleasant plumber visit. I had received a prior quote from another company which was 150% more. They cleaned up extremely well. I would highly recommend you contact them for your next need. They are also diversified and off additional home services. Such as water heater service and humidifier services.

Debbie was super helpful and very friendly. They were also very accommodating. In addition to showing up in a timely manner, but also provided a very good estimate and in addition, gave a very good discount on their services. Highly recommended and if I do have any future plumbing issues, they will be the first that I will call.

I contacted several companies (all with good Unilocal reviews) to get quotes on a new water heater. A & D was able to give me a quote over the phone, which was $ 200 less than the other two quotes for the exact same brand & size water heater.
They showed up on schedule and were very friendly, even funny. They put down canvas tarps from my front door all the way to the location in the basement where the work was to be performed. Once finished, they explained how the new water heater works and what to expect. I paid the quoted price, even though the installation required a new valve (which another company said would cost $ 67 extra). Another reviewer mentioned this, but they only take cash & check for payment. They’ll remind you when you call them so you’re aware.
Overall a positive experience and a price that was much better than the competition. Definitely consider A&D if you’re getting quotes for any plumbing work.

Was referred to a different plumber when I was called by the owner below my rental unit in Roselle about a leak. After that plumber came out (for a fee) to pinpoint what was going on, I received a ridiculously high quote on a toilet reset (which includes removing the toilet, replacing the wax ring, and putting the toilet back).
Off to Unilocal I went to try to find a plumber with a good record and reasonable prices. So glad that I found A & D, who represented their experience well, had reasonable prices (their quote was $ 200 less than the other company), and who worked well with my tennant. I will definitely use A & D for any future plumbing needs and have already recommended them to friends in the area. Highly recommended!

We have been looking for decent plumbers since we moved to the area. A couple of emergencies that caused frantic and quick reviews of the phone book turned up decent but EXPENSIVE options. This time though, there was no emergency and I could take some time to check out different options.
I called A&D (among others) to get the cost to replace two hose faucets outside. After hearing some of the other prices, some less than stellar attitudes and a «call back some other time». I decided to go with A&D. Tony and Brandon showed up on time in a decent looking van and decently dressed. Good first impression! The first thing they did after some introductions was lay out some tarps on the carpet. They cut out the old faucets and got them replaced very quickly. Both were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. I had some questions about our injector pump and Tony was happy to explain things to me.
Two bonuses: First, Tony looks just a little like Al Borland on «Home Improvement». Seems to be as trustworthy too. Second, no «plumber’s crack» from either of them. That is appreciated too! :)
They do not take credit cards so keep that in mind. A&D are now my go-​to guys for any future plumbing needs. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
