Great place to stop for a burger and ice chilled beer. Beer was perfectly cold. Patty melt and I had a torta, the day’s special. Both were excellent. Service was friendly and the food was made to order. The onion rings were awesome. I would definitely return.

The waitress told us it used to be a Moose Lodge before her family bought it and converted into a bar. It’s in an industrial looking area just off the highway and you have to hunt to find it. It’s worth it. Especially if you’ve made the terrifying journey to Mega Tom’s and fled in horror, like we did. The burgers were terrific and tasty. The waitress and other patrons were friendly. It’s not stylish but the food was dandy. Green chile was authentic, too. I’ll go there again.

Boy am I glad I stopped here. On the road for 15 hours. Saw reviews in Unilocal.Stopped it was Sunday night and the kitchen was already closed. Bummer. The bar tender was Mandy. She said since I had such a long day she would go in and fire up the grill again. I had a bacon burger with onion rings. The burger was huge with lots of bacon and cheese. I really appreciated the effort. Great food and good beer. Definitely a place to stop when passing thru. You won’t be disappointed.

We came here with 12 people on the way back from Vegas. It was such a great experience. It looks like a pit stop, complete with pool tables and dart board. The kids got to play pool while waiting for food. Waitress and owner were super nice. We had burgers and chicken wings, jalapeño poppers, onion rings and curly fries. Total bill for 12 people was $ 98. Such a nice surprise.

The frisco burger was one of my favorite burgers ever! I am a petite almost middle age woman in slight denial; I ate every bite of that hamburger. My Italian friend couldn’t stop declaring how yummy her burger was … I think that alone declares this place a delicious American place! You could choose between French fries or onion rings. I got the onion rings and loved them! My friend got French fries … They were good but didn’t hold a candle to the onion rings. The atmosphere inside was very Route 66/Americana. I wouldn’t change it a bit … It fit the friendly clientele and employees. Clean bathroom; cute signs. I will definitely be back!

Loved this place. Great food. Gave my Mom a free beer because there was a mix up with her ticket, but she still had her meal with plenty of time to eat with the rest of us. Simple menu, but everything is so cheap! With large portions. I got delicious chicken strips and have some for lunch tomorrow. We also met both owners while we were there. Very cool little Barstow gem.

This is not the kind of place we stop at often, but I’m glad we did. The food was very tasty. The burgers were made with fresh beef. The onion rings were great. The staff was friendly, but the regulars were a bit rowdy. I’ll eat here again. The owner even brought my girls a special treat.

A total hole in the wall, but what it lacks in ambiance it makes up in food and service. We met, a group of school friends, for the first time in 42 years, and this was the midway point for us. We spent a pleasant afternoon catching up. The food was really delicious, the portions were large, and the bartender was really sweet. We had a great time and I would eat there again any time I’m passing through Barstow. Thanks, guys!

Not what I expected from the outside. At first I though it was a private club but I read the reviews and took a chance. Totally worth it. I had the cheeseburger and it was excellent and the onion rings were the best o have ever had.

Stopped on our way home cross country. Our family makes an effort to never eat«fast food». Great burgers, and entertaining pool!

The atmosphere was a little janky. As someone passing through, I got the vibe that the older men that were sitting at the bar generally get their early, and leave late … after many beers. This isnt a «family» restaurant, but the food was great. If it wasnt so dark and dive-bar-ish in there, it would be wonderful.

Awesome place. Good food. Good music. Cold beer. Cool people. Lots of TVs to watch sports. And it has a really cool racing theme.

On the way to Vegas and looking for lunch, we took a wrong turn, searched for food and found The Pit Stop. It is a bar and grill so you have your locals hanging out at the bar, which were all friendly. I ordered a cheeseburger with tots. The burger was juicy and flavorful and much bigger than expected. I’m a fan of tots and these were perfectly crisped and salted. My friend had a grilled cheese that wasn’t full of grease and onion rings that you could bite into without pulling the entire onion out. My tip to you is don’t turn around when you walk in. The food was perfectly executed diner food, the staff was friendly, the kitchen clean(I peeked in), and clean, stocked bathrooms.

Stopped here to have a beer, lunch, and watch a little football on the way home. Great burgers!!! The onion rings were awesome, and the fries were delicious. The prices are good and you get more than your money’s worth. The atmosphere was friendly. Even though we weren’t locals, we were treated as old friends. Great place! We will for sure be back.
