This is the worst home improvement store in California! If you need anything, just drive to Lowes in Victorville-​you will be glad you did. This store carries a limited range of tools and supplies and the management is arrogant and stupid! Stay away!

I love this Home Depot for the very unique experience of having a drive-​through lumber yard. I’ve never seen one anywhere else. You drive your truck into their lumber yard. Then you park and load up the lumber that you need. Then you drive up to the cash register and they ring you up. Once you’ve paid, they open the gate and you drive to your job site. Brilliant!
Other than the drive-​through lumber yard, this Home Depot is the same as just about any other Home Depot. There is a lot of supplies for all types of home improvement projects. However, if you need specialty items, they may not carry them. Overall, it’s a great place to go for a one-​stop shop.
The staff that work here are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes they are a bit hard to find in the store, but when I go up front, I can always get someone.

The worst customer service in Barstow.
We went to buy lighting. Had the department paged three times in 30 minutes. No one could bother showing up. In fact, an associate stared at me 10 minutes on the phone before asking if I needed help.

This place isn’t all that bad. It’s kept clean inside. I have always received really friendly customer service and advice. And it’s never been crowded or too busy. A good alternative to the Victorville store.
