History

Established in 1978.

Gloria Darling, the original owner, started Darling’s Typing Service in her garage as a side business while continuing to care for her two children. After a few years she decided to open a store front on Williams Street until she moved to Buena Vista and Second in 2005. Aaron Lipcaman took over the business, February 2006 and has been the owner/​operator ever since. Aaron graduated from Paralegal School in 2005 and worked in her profession before taking over the business. A Barstow High School graduate of the Class of 2004, Aaron has been a lifelong resident of the Barstow area and plans nothing but to continue to serve the community and continue the legacy of this small typing business for years to come.
