Amigo Tech Smog Test Only Station

My Dad required a smog check on his truck, with the $ 15 discount coupon in hand we went to get his truck smoged. We received a cordial greeting from the tech and he proceeded with the inspection while my Dad filled out the invoice name, address… When the tech returned my Dad started a lively conversation (cars & customizing etc.) with the tech. Overall a professional, fast, and friendly experience, out the door $ 38. Highly recommend.

The worst service I have ever experienced! I don’t know if the technician was racist or sexist but I do NOT recommend this place! The guy at the office was very polite but the technician was rude, rude, RUDE. There is a coupon on the website there’s a $ 10 off coupon the moment I showed him it, he raised the price. Furthermore, he gave me a price that was higher than the one on the board and tried to make me pay for a more expensive service that I know I didn’t need.
Just because it’s the only one in Barstow. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to another location. I did, paid way less and better service!

Quick and easy! They’re STAR certified. My car requires a STAR SMOG check every other year and my registration is due in a few days. Called them up to check their hours and verified if appointment was needed. No appointment was necessary and great fast service.

the place looks nice. and the people were polite but sarcastic «well if you want to go somewere else but its far to go to victorville» like if i didnt have another option being this is the only check star approved place in barstow. But they wanted to charge $ 78.00 for a smog check!!! thats a rip off. i thought it would be more convinient to stop and do the smog check here in barstow since i work here but i rather go to all star smog check in victorville of off anacapa rd were they charge 40.00 and have you in and out in 15 minutes. here in barstow they said because they needed to do something extra thats why it was $ 78.00 the smog check is a SMOG CHECK! they dont do anything extra. only diference is when its in a check only or star approved location. that place is aproved by the DMV and must be inspected there and no other smog check place thats not approved. Im kind of mad and disapointed. but good thing this is not my only option!
