Fantastic color and cut! I love this place! Annie is so knowledgeable and could not be nicer. She gave my hair dimension and texture. They were very accommodating of my schedule and considerate of my time. Friendly and personal staff. I will definitely be a regular!

no longer customer focused. have been a regular customer for over 15 years. moving on. back in the day they bent over backwards to at least act like they were trying to accommodate you. seemed as though they cared about every customer. now, not so much! i will definitely not be recommending them, ever again. moving on! update: they looked up my current appointments and tried to call me a liar… i have seen many different stylists and had several spa days/​services for over 15 years. also, they claim they tried to accommodate me, not true, they offered to cut my hair and 1.5 weeks later color! some accomidation! i deserved a return phone call from my stylist. i left a message but apparently a loyal customer doesn’t even get that much respect. stay away!!! expensive and not worth it!

I have been a client at L’Auberge Day Spa for at least ten years. Most often I am there to have a manicure and pedicure with Nail Specialist Ella Dobbs. Their department heat sterilizes all of their implements — which is one reason why I first started going there. Everyone is very pleasant… from the front desk receptionist to the hairstylists… along with long time owner Annie Golden. I always look forward to going to their lovely and convenient location. Parking is plentiful. I have also been very pleased when using their massage services.

I used my living social voucher for a no chip mani. Ella was wonderful, sweet and personable. I have been searching for this kind of place and level of attention to service. I’m so pleased with my experience.

I used the Living Social coupon for a no chip manicure. When I called to schedule, no one answered for weeks. Finally when I was able to get someone on the phone there were no openings for 2 months. I booked mine and arrived 2 months later. The place was empty. I used the credit to do a pedicure instead. The pedicure is a Homedics foot bath. The bubbles were up to my knees. The service was good but it was an uncomfortable silence since no one else was there and there was no music. When I was done I tried to pay by credit card and she said the machines and music were all closed up for the night so I had to pay by cash. I barely had enough to pay for the service and it only affected her tip in the end. Horrible experience!

Jennifer is a fantastic stylist! I like my short, silver hair spiky, trendy and sophisticated and Jennifer absolutely nailed all three on my first visit. She’s expert in techniques I never saw my former stylist use but that deliver exactly the look I always wanted. Best of all, the cut’s so good I can turn myself out every day looking like I just stepped out of her chair. Been back 3 times and going tomorrow for a cut and color — if you want a great contemporary, «with it» look from a very talented stylist who actually listens and «gets it,» you definitely want to be Jennifer’s client!

I went to L’auberge yesterday for a no-​chip manicure and it may just be the best no chip I’ve ever had.
The salon is a bit hidden and it seemed like no one was inside from the outside. When I went in though, it was hustling and bustling. One interesting thing about the hair salon portion of L’auberge is that each hair station is divided with walls. Half the appeal of going to a hair salon is shooting the breeze with the others in the salon. But then it’s also nice to have some privacy.
Olga did my no chip and was a very kind lady. She spent a lot of time on my manicure and making sure everything was just right. I really appreciated the time she took on my nails. I picked a pretty dark gray color and so far it’s still looking so fresh & so clean.
I’ll update in a couple weeks on the longevity.

Maura is fantastic, be sure you see her for a massage or any type of wax. I also had a haircut and color this week, Amber is amazing! It was my first time at the salon and I am so happy with the results!

Ines is the best! I have very difficult hair. It is baby fine and straight. Ines always gives me great color and style. I call her my genius! I have been going so long now I consider her my friend!

My first time at L’auberge…tried it after reading the other reviews on Unilocal,as I was desperately searching for a stylist that knew how to cut short hair styles (have been a hair salon whore for the past 2 years trying to replace my previous stylist that moved out of state). Amber cut my hair and I am extremely pleased with the cut and the style. She understood what I needed and did it perfectly — and she was so easy to talk to! A great salon that makes you feel right at home!

Amber does an amazing job keeping my red hair, red and my hot pink streaks as bright as possible. She also, always has great ideas of new fun ways to style my hair.
The entire staff is friendly and polite. There is also an abundance of free parking in the Foundry. Prices for services are comparable for the area and worth every penny!

When you get two of your best girlfriends who refer you to a salon, you know it has to be a great one. Well, my first experience there today was just that. I believe I have finally found a great salon with very experienced stylists.

L’Auberge is an excellent salon and offers many services. The best stylist by far is Danielle. She is extremely talented, professional and it is obvious that she has a passion for her work, which is truly an art form. You will not be disappointed with Danielle!

This salon/​day spa is my home away from home! I love all the services. Everyone is very professional and figures out a way to get you in even if they are busy. Inez and Danielle are the stylists that I would recommend. I have been going here since they opened in 1997. It’s a place where you are always satisfied. In addition, Maura, the masseuse is outstanding. It’s a great place to make yourself look and feel like a «million bucks». Go make your appointment NOW.

Go see Heather, she’s the best. I’m sure the other stylists are great too but I trust no one but her.
She’s always been spot on with color and great with haircuts — I have curly hair but I wear it straight and curly so cutting my hair has always been tricky.
Everyone at the salon is friendly too. Try it out!

This is quite a hike for me, but it’s well worth it to have Heather do my hair. The color that is used at this salon always turns out so much better than everywhere else I have been (and I have tried my fair share of salons). Heather is fun to talk to, and knows her way around with a little saran wrap (she doesn’t use foils, which I am so grateful for!) She is also fantastic with haircuts. I don’t cut my hair often, but she always does a beautiful job. My husband also loves her haircuts!
The salon isn’t huge, but I like the privacy of each separate station. You don’t feel like everyone is staring at you while your hair is all crazy.
Definitely give this place a try!
