Established in 1992.

Since opening in 1992, Adagio Spa & Salon has expanded from a small 600 square foot mini Spa, only offering Nails and Skin Services, to a 14,000 square foot Spa. We now offer many Spa services. Massages, Facials, Make-​up, Natural Nail Services, Full Salon and even Tanning.

Jules grew up in the Boston area and attended Catherine Hinds Institute where she studied aesthetics and makeup artistry. She began her career in the beauty industry in Boston as a freelance makeup artist for Ultimate Studios and Ford Modeling Agency. She continued her education at Lowell Technical Institute where she studied to become a nail technician. Jules moved to the Seacoast area of NH in 1991 and opened Lady Fingers Nail Salon in Newmarket. The success of the business and the need for spa services in the area allowed Jules the opportunity to open Optima Day Spa in 1993; it was the first full-​service day spa in the NH Seacoast. In 1997, the spa relocated from Newmarket to it’s present location in Barrington along with Dante’s Pasta and Vino in order to offer NH’s first combination restaurant and spa: Dante’s and Adagio!

Today, in addition to running the operations of both businesses, Jules still finds time to be in the treatment room. She enjoys providing sk
