It is not trendy or cutsey; Vista De Mare (The Finer Diner) is just a pleasant place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. It features the Galapagos Islands (Ecuador), and South American cuisine. Ecuadorian food reflects the diversity of habitats and regions in Ecuador which can be seen in this country’s varied and delicious cuisine. Our spices are widely used, especially «achiote,» pepper, cumin, coriander, parsley, garlic, lime, lime-juice, and more, thus making a special Ecuadorian cuisine, we can be found in the heart of historical downtown Hyannis, the best of Cape Cod.
Vista De Mare serves a diversity of seafood, soups, salads, steaks, chicken, and pork; most of our dishes are offered as: first, second, and third course. Our famous pumpkin soup and bacalao-mejillon (baked cod –mussels with cilantro lime sauce) have been voted the BEST in Hyannis by our many guests.

Business Owner
Moved to the States in 1990, had passion for the hospitality industry, Jorge became a restaurant kitchen team member ever since, worked in New York City for the most prestigious three star restaurants. After twenty years of being a lead cook, Jorge together with his brother Sergio decided to own and run Vista De Mare (The Finer Diner) South American and Galapagos Islands cuisine in Hyannis Cape Cod Massachusetts.
Jorge is looking forward his MBA.
