History

Established in 2000.

My great-grandfather came to America through Boston in the 1930s. He spent his life paving cobblestone streets in Beacon Hill and all throughout the city. His son, my grandfather, began his career as a 10 year old bringing water to his father and his co workers while they built roads. My grandfather later graduated to set curbs and pave sidewalks in brick, and eventually moved on to run his own crews. He built entire city blocks and even stretches of the Mass Pike. In the 1980s the family moved to Cape Cod where my grandfather applied his skills overseeing the construction of 25 homes and properties with his sons.

When I was a teenager, he began to teach me how to set cobblestones and bricks, how to grade for a perfectly pitched stone patio, and all of his techniques for creating beautiful works in stone and brick. Over the past 15 years, we have paved driveways, patios and walkways, and we have built beautiful steps, stoops and stonewalls across Cape Cod.

Meet the Business Owner

Elliott R.

Business Owner

I first started to learn stone and brick construction when I was 16 here on Cape Cod from my grandfather. He began his career in construction paving brick sidewalks in Boston, and his father before him paving cobblestone streets when he immigrated to Boston from Italy. I have a degree in Design and Fine Arts, which I apply to my work everyday. This means I am able to sit down with you and design an outdoor installation, sketch our ideas and draft blueprints.

I hope to offer hard working Cape Codders an affordable means for them to address their hardscape needs, and honest and expert craftsmanship in all projects. I pride myself on helping my customers understand the process of hardscape construction. We talk about the right way to execute the work, the pros and cons of different materials and techniques, and what is ultimately the best option for the project.
