Sorry Damien S! Love ya dude… and I seem to walk in your hungry footsteps… Because I know croissants from an intimate level of the 16 hours it takes to make them… and a motherly defiante panache for clean… «Bad News Amie» is a temptress and devil in a chef’s suit… I went in and OGLED the coconut cream cake. But after having an affair with Bacchus and Adephagia during our CDK house breakfast, I just couldn’t… I almost fell to my knees and prayed to the goddess of pastries and butter as I almost wept at the case… So we struck up a gab with the wicked witch of the cape. She did it. She talked coconut cream pie. And the no good for any mothers son, layers a delicate whisp of ganache to protect the buttery and flaky crust from seeping liquid from the cream pie… CURSES! If you are not glutten defiant and not on a diet… This exquisitely clean and France meets New England meets butter, meets flour and meets coffee is heaven on earth. Amie is adorable, and her place is clean to a fault. SHAMEONYOU!

I have spent summer in Wianno since 1972 and not a lot has changed in this little town… so a new restaurant is always exciting! In my adult life when I started finding a strong taste and liking for coffee, I always had an issue finding a good cup in Osterville. Amie’s has done it… they brew a lovely espresso and my mornings are now complete in Osterville. The fresh croissants are twice as good! I haven’t tried much else besides the coffee and the croissants but I can tell you my mornings or specially happy now that Amie’s opeed in downtown Osterville. The restaurant itself is very cute very simple very clean. The entire staff is wonderful. Also, they also make beautiful cupcakes and if I were having any sort of wedding or party I would definitely consider looking here as a place to buy my deserts.

I was disappointed with the service. The young woman who made my latte was very nice but no one else gave me the time of day. I felt like I was bothering them. The food is overpriced. This local won’t go back anytime soon.

Delighted with Amie’s picture perfect placement along Main Street, Osterville. Petite, French aesthetic, Cape charm. The croissants are on the savory side, with the almond-chocolate finding rich, cocoa-lush filling on the buttery almondine side, thankfully skirting the saccharine marzipan approach. These puppies run $ 3 – 3.50. Speaking of savory, plain croissants house beautiful egg sandwiches that had me regretting my just-et breakfast. Next time, you casserole brick mambajambas! As for the sugar side, I’m also a big fan of their butterscotch oatmeal cookie. It toes the line between bakery soft and Tate’s crispy, while announcing a light caramel sweetness with hearty texture. Two bucks. Eat one. Found out after the fact their iced coffee is actually cold brewed, which methinks would be very publicly announced. Time ain’t cheap, and if you’re steeping batches of beans overnight, the people have a right to know(and enjoy)! That’s pretty much it. And so goes the chief ding against Amie — a very limited selection of offerings. If you’re a cupcake shop, I get it, but bakeries have various breads, muffins, scones, pastries(pleeeeeeeease make a palmier!), and other treats. With the exception of sweet and savory croissants, Amie serves maybe one of each(raspberry scone, blueberry muffin, etc), thus equating itself to a coffee shop more than a bakery. Plans for the future? Still getting your Osterville sea legs? Fingers crossed for bigger things in Amie’s future — they’ve got a collective whiz of a baking team in their kitchen.

Got a cake for my mother’s birthday here. Way too overpriced. Cake was extremely dry and frosting had absolutely no flavor and a very strange texture. Our cakes at Stop and Shop taste gourmet compared to this. Very disappointed, will not be returning!

Osterville is lucky to have Amie’s! It’s a cosy, French style bakery with fresh, delicious pastries and friendly staff. I go in just about every morning for a caramel latte and Jordan Marsh Blueberry muffin. On weekends they have the most amazing cinnamon buns! Best espresso drinks on the cape, which is a hard find and an easy sell. Worth the trip every time!

Cup cakes and croissants are excellent, coffee is good. Also liked the yoghurt and granola for breakfast. Service is friendly but a bit haphazard. Not a place if you are in a hurry.

While the ham and cheese croissant and large iced coffee I had on my first visit here were delicious, and I would return because of quality of product, I hope the service and menu display can improve. The iced coffee is cold brewed, I learned, so to me it’s worth the higher price. The ham on my croissant was thinly sliced and the cheese creamy, and the croissant buttery and flaky. Together these two items ran me $ 11 and change. There were 4 employees working at the time, late Sunday morning after the holiday, but there was little communication between them. My meal was forgotten and I had to remind them I was waiting for it as people in line were handed their orders first. I don’t think they were prepared for or expecting the rush of customers they had, which I understood. A larger, more prominent and comprehensive menu would be an incredible improvement. I believe this is a relatively new establishment, and with time I think it will be excellent. I will return to try more items in the menu, and it’s pleasant to spend time in Osterville.

This is a place that’s really not a place worthy of its prices.(Way overpriced) The scone I got was so dry I could Barely bring myself to finish it. My friend who got the pastry was not pleased with how cold it was. Overall I won’t make a trip again for quite a wile.

Went and bought flour less cake. Served tonight, it was the worst ever frozen fudge was served at my party … I would have bought fudge at Gone Chocolate if that was my desire for desert .Will not visit again.

My wife and I stopped in at the Amie Bakery today and had a nice breakfast and brought some delicious pastries home. Breakfast was a spinach and artichoke quiche and mine was a ham, egg, and cheese pocket. Both flavorful and satisfying. We split an apple and blueberry tart and took half a dozen other desserts home. The owner made us feel right at home and was pleasant to chat with. Cheery atmosphere. All food made from scratch. Will stop there often.

This new bakery is good but there are a few hits and a few misses and it is a bit pricy. Very«cozy» so either get there early, be prepared to wait outside(there is an overhang if its raining) or order to go. They make a cappuccino but seeing as how I will never try it, you are on your own. The ham and cheese croissant is extremely tasty, but at 7 $ it’s more of an indulgence than a regular treat. The lemon iced cupcake with a raspberry filling was decadent and worth the 2.50 $ per despite it’s petite size. I am not a fan of Blueberry muffins but these were outstanding and I chose them based solely on how they looked. Fresh, with real deal blueberries throughout. The mini eclairs were stale and not very flavorful. I did purchase them at 830am, so my assumption is they were a holdover from the day before but that is not an excuse for subpar eclairs. Stop n shop has offered better eclairs(it was a moment of weakness) but if i’m paying a buck for a pastry smaller than my pinky, it needs to explode with flavor. Butterscotch cookies were ok but not amazing, the linzer tart was almost perfect but a tad too sweet. Call something a tart you need a bit of tart in there. Overall a very nice place but a bit pricy. I will definitely try again.

If you are looking for the best tomato soup on Cape Cod, head over to Amie’s. I just enjoyed a cup with a friend and it is the best she has ever had as well! The homemade croûton was a mini croissant! Stay for a cup of coffee, it is full bodied and delicous. I have never tasted coffee like it!

I really wanted to like this place. I had chocolate crinkle cookies, but they had the texture and moisture you would expect of cookies made during the Reagan administration. If you know its old, dont just put it out thinking«whatever.» You may be good at what you do, but you cant get away with that in this day and age. bake what you need for a day or two. They were more than dissapointing. straight up bad. The chocolate croissant was pretty good. still, one bar of chocolate is subpar. I understand how you could get away with so-so in some places, but there are boulangeries in falmouth, wellfleet, and even hyannis that make this taste like a Stop & Shop treat. I will probably be back. If you haven’t gone, then you should definitely drop in and spend just a couple bucks to sample some things. Still, you guys need to step your game up and not just try to get by on the fact that you are a bakery in Osterville. Real estate might be about location location location, but bakeries are different. If you’ve had fresh baked goods, you kind of expect them from a bakery.

A newly opened bakery in Osterville that’s a must try! The pastry options were delicious — I particularly loved the artichoke and feta quiche. The owner is such a sweetheart, too!

This place is a winner. Went in today and enjoyed a local coffee and slice of specialty cake. This is my favorite coffee roasted in Mashpee and now I can get a cup right in town! The cake was a special french pastry translated to «kings cake». I’m not a pastry buff but I’d describe it as a fancy and flaky bear claw. It was delicious. My wife had a Carmel Latte and she liked it better than her beloved Starbucks. She also enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie that was«not too soft yet not to crispy». Other customers were enjoying soup and croissant sandwiches. The owner did a great job of remodeling the old Village Café. It is very clean and bright inside. The summer crowd may be disappointed in that there are only 9 seats. It will be more of a take out/in and out place rather than a hangout. Prices seemed reasonable for Osterville. I think my medium cup of coffee was $ 1.85 and slice of cake was $ 3.75. I can’t give it 5 stars yet. The owner was understandable very busy on the phone while the friendly staff did their best. Fresh coffee needed to be brewed when I ordered it which meant a delay. I was in no hurry, but had I been looking for a quick to-go cup it would have been annoying. I’m sure little kinks like this will be ironed out before the craziness of an Osterville summer hits.
