Love love love their wings! Been going there for many years and have never had a bad wing or a bad visit. It may be a little smoky at times but the food is always great and the servers are super nice friendly and attentive. Oh i also love their crab ragoon. My 2 stapl items!

Keep driving. The owner believes that waiting 1 ½ hours for your food is completely normal.

Good food and fun atmosphere, just way too smokey for me. Definitely, need to put an exhaust fan in above the bar for all the old timers chain smoking.

Five stars for sure. I’m a regular breakfast eater at Holties. Great service great food. Lunch and dinner never disappoints either. My favorite breakfast joint by far.

Wings and cheddar burgers are TODIEFOR! Service is always slow but worth the wait.

We have had great service at all times of the day. Breakfast is great. I’ve tried eggs, pancakes, etc. All good. Dinner menu has been great as well, until they were out of steak the other night. Tuna is good, burgers, T-ravs, steak sandwich, has all been good.

I have never been here to drink. In fact I’ve never been here past 10am because I only come for the breakfast. The breakfast is classic, greasy, calorie laden diner food at it’s best. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for a table and the waitresses are all friendly, quick, and efficient. The only downside: smoking is still allowed inside. I really wish JeffCo would finally jump on the non-smoking band wagon with the rest of us in the 21st century. Anyway, if you can stand the smoke clouds — this is a fantastic stop for a classic diner breakfast.

Slow, slow, slow, slow, cold, slow, good food! food is great but seriously you are going to have to wait at least an hour for your food. No matter how busy they are. Just beware

Have been going to this place for a couple of years now and have made a lot of friends. The breakfasts are great. The Awesome Omelet is good but awesome if you substitute jalapeños. The sausage gravy is sometime missing the sausage but they will fix it if you say something. For lunch you can’t beat the wings and the Holy Guacamole burger is also good. They often run out of items(like Bud Light Draft) so get used to being disappointed from time to time. The service at the bar is good but spotty in the dining area. Also, this is an all smoking establishment so if the smoke bothers you, go somewhere else because apparently they don’t care.

I’ve never gotten anything but their wings. However 100000 stars because I will drive from STL just to buy these.

Trashed and resaused wings were great, plus you can get 48 of them with a pitcher of beer for $ 30.00. They are big wings as well. Giving 3 stars due to having to send back my beer mug after receiving a dirty one and for the smoking allowed. Great wings I will be back.

My husband and I go here every weekend for breakfast. The food is definitely home made cookin! Everything is amazing. The trashed(sauced then fried) wings are the best wings ever! We always have them cater family functions and no one has ever disliked them! The staff is so nice and very sweet!

Holties gets four stars for the wings. This Missouri bar feels both divey and country. Holties is a comfortable bar where you can grab a drink and eat belly filling soul food. We always get the wings which are rich with flavor and just the right texture of crispy and tender. The sauces that go with it make them taste better than other competitors, making it worth the trek. I even liked the other appetizers they had like the potato skins and fried mushrooms. While some items are definitely made in house like the chicken wings, others seemed prepackaged. Indeed, our waiter admitted the soups weren’t homemade. Service was definitely slow. I don’t think they have enough staff to cover the demands of their tables. I think things that would have helped this place out would be cutting down on the number of items on the menu and more really getting good quality in house items. If you cut the wings, I would have given this place three stars.

I was in a party of 10 that came in for dinner. We had a wide variety of food and everyone commented on how good it was. I had a Blue Cheese burger that was cooked to the proper degree of doneness. The person across from me had the Chili Mac. It was HUGE and he really liked it. Overall it was a really good experience. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was it took quite a while to to get our food after the order. I know it takes a little longer for a large party but this was close to 25 minutes.

My hubby and I ate here recently and were quite impressed with the food. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table in the«non-smoking» area but we figured… It’s a dive, in the middle of nowhere, and they’re packed! It must be good! I ordered the French Dip, which was huge! My hubby ordered a burger, which was very huge! The potato skins are awesome. Servers were friendly, food was good. A little bit of a wait for food, but not too bad! We’ll be back… hubby wants to try the wings!

My husband ordered a Porterhouse and I order catfish… we watched his steak sit on the window for 8 minutes… waitress finally brought it… and it was cold… He finished his food before I even had mine… I told the bad attitude waitress to just box mine up when it’s ready… so I didn’t get to even eat… and the waitress was very unfriendly from the minute we sat down… horrible…we will never be back.

I love Holties! It’s a little divey and definitely a no frills kind of place, which is my kind of place. Non-smokers beware, they do allow smoking inside, but that doesn’t bother me… The steak sandwich or French dip is always a winner, and the chef salad is everything I want in a salad. The fries are probably my favorite part, steak fries, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Oh, and the girls always make me cherry Pepsi from the bar, what more could a girl ask for!

Keep driving. Don’t bother, I order chicken strips and they came out raw and still clucking. I’ll never be back.

This is your basic bar food joint. The portions are HUGE and everything is at a reasonable price. I would give this place 4 or 5 stars if the staff was nicer. My husband and I go here about every other week and the service can be spotty depending on if the waitresses are in a good mood or not.

I’m not crazy about hamburger. But my husband love their famous hamburger. We got big plate of appetizer combo that could feed 4 people for 15 something. But we don’t like their jalapeño poppers appetizer.
