The Sand Castle Bed and Breakfast specializes in luxury overnight accommodations for couples who require the finest. Immaculately clean, spacious suites and rooms with water views, fireplace, private entrance, private bath, some with jacuzzi, HDTV and DVD player with a great library of DVDs to borrow from await our valued guests. A full sumptuous breakfast is served each morning and the innkeeper gives her fullest attention to every detail. During summer season, guests enjoy a heated pool and outdoor jacuzzi, beach gear, bicycles and lovely rooftop deck with magnificent views of the sunset over the bay.

History

Established in 2000.

Opening during the Millenium year 2000, the Sand Castle provided a much needed luxury alternative to lodging on Long Beach Island. In 2001 we were chosen to belong to «Select Registry» and continued our membership for ten years. In 2006, our widely popular breakfast was voted «Best Breakfast in the Northeast» by inngoers. In 2011, we became a «Diamond Member» of Bedand​break​fast​.com. The Sand Castle continues to get rave reviews from guests on Tri​pAd​vi​sor​.com for our clean, seashore contemporary style, sumptuous breakfasts and amazing amenities and looks forward to having you visit us!

Business Owner

As Innkeeper/​Owner of the Sand Castle Bed and Breakfast, Nancy comes from a varied background of teaching, small business ownership/​entrepreneur and mother of two grown children. An unexpected but delightful midlife change of careers brought the Sand Castle into existence and allowed Nancy the opportunity to entertain and host guests in her home on LBI. The innkeeper enjoys travel, photography, bird watching, flying and genealogy.
