Log House Restaurant has been family owned and operated since 1973. Offering family style dining with affordable prices — from steaks and seafood to homemade soups and desserts — there is something for everyone!
History
Established in 1973.
In 1958, Joe Dileo, Sr. bought and tore down the Brookside Restaurant and replaced it with The Valley Diner. It was open 24 hours daily for
ten years until 1972 when he decided to build the Log House Restaurant.
Established in 1972 by Mary and Joe Dileo, the Log House Restaurant was constructed from Vermont white cedar logs, hauled from Vermont and built on site by the late, Bob Parsons, several family members and friends and was completed in 1973.
There have been several additions to the building over the years as our clientele has increased giving us about 4,800 square feet of space with many seating options: counter, booth, table, back porch, window seating, take out, catering and banquet dining for up to 100 persons. It’s a big spread but, we try to keep it feeling cozy, «home style» and family friendly from our walls to our wait staff, our appetizers through our desserts and at family affordable pricing — because we have a big family too!
