Sheila’s Cakery has been putting smiles on people’s faces all over Ohio and Pennsylvania. Whether it is one of Sheila’s wedding cakes, cupcakes, regular cakes, designer sugar cookies, giant chocolate chip cookie cakes or her cake pops her customers always rave about how delicious, moist, beautifully decorated and wonderful they are. Sheila offers both regular and gluten free desserts. She offers all different kinds of flavors; however, if you don’t see a flavor you were hoping for just ask. The Cakery will take special orders, but if it is something that differs from the regular menu there may be an extra charge, depending on the request.

History

Established in 2011.

Sheila’s Cakery was started in 2011 when many of Sheila’s friends and family told her she should go into business to start creating her wonderful cakes and desserts for people to purchase. Since opening Sheila’s Cakery has increased in customers mainly due to word of mouth. As people find out about the cakery and then get to try the desserts they immediately start telling others and keep coming back for more and more fantastic sweets.

Business Owner

Sheila is a homemaker, who is married and a mother of 2. She started her cakery because so many people had been asking for her to start selling her baked goods so they could enjoy them any time and to help support her family. She founded her cakery on Psalm 34:8, which says «Taste and see that the Lord is good…» Sheila taught herself many of the technique she uses and learned others from family, friends and some of the top bakers and chefs in the US. Sheila has the awesome ability to be able to design cakes (both wedding and regular) by looking at a picture or pictures given to her by customers, hearing what they want and then putting everything together to create exactly what they want.
