Illinois Bone and Joint Institute

So we have been going to Illinois Bone and Joint since my kids were old enough to brake their bones and sprain their joints. It is never a great experience to hurt yourself but every visit to Illinois Bone and Joint has been great (not including the pain or trauma). The office is set modern and the equipment is all state of the art. To me this is a key feature because I want to know with certainty if its broken or not! In addition to the modern facilities and hi tech equipment, Illinois Bone & Joint has a great staff. Our doctor in particular is extremely friendly and great with kids. That’s not so easy when they are in their broken state! The firm has many offices and that makes it very convenient for us since we are always on the go.
I would recommend Illinois Bone and Joint to anyone regardless of age and if I have brake or sprain I will be heading there as well. They are a 5 star operation in my book!

Our family has been using the team at IBJI for over 30 years — yes that is before they were called IBJI. We have used a number of doctors in the practice but our primary contacts are Arnie Cohn and Ben Davis. The group is professional and very knowledgeable. Every doctor has a team that works with them to help get everything done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

They are simply outrages, the technician who was removing my father in low cast was not qualified and had no idea what was he doing, and cut his skin off!

Dr. Sherman is honestly the best doctor I have ever been to. He is so nice, extremely intelligent and is very easy to deal with. This is a guy who clearly knows what it takes to be a doctor and anyone who is having troubles with hips, ankles, etc., should seize the «opportunity» to see this doctor!

I can’t say this review is of Illinois Bone & Joint, as it is more specific to ONE of their doctors — Dr. Lori Siegel — who is by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen! From the second she walked in the room I could tell there was something different about her. She’s in tune to her patients, she’s listening, she’s thinking (I could almost see the wheels turning, LOL), she’s optimistic, and thinking outside the box.
I should probably preface by saying that she’s a Rheumatologist. And within 90 seconds of being in the room, she had started moving my hands/​legs and told me I was hyper-​flexible. While seeing Dr. Siegel, she just made me feel at ease. I felt comfortable and happy. I felt like she really wanted to help me. And she talked to me like a real person, like her next door neighbor — instead of being arrogant & condescending as some can be.
She’s looking outside the box — to help reveal things my other doctors haven’t found. In my 2 visits with her she’s given me several GREAT suggestions that I’m going to implement in my life, AND uncovered an illness (thru bloodwork) that we previously didn’t know existed. I wish I could make her my general physician because she’s just absolutely got something special about her.
I will definitely recommend her to all my friends & family, and fellow Unilocalers!
If everyone had the personality that she has, the world would be a beautiful place!
As far as «Illinois Bone and Joint Institute» goes… I don’t have much. The office was very nice. Classy, clean, comfortable, bright, and very large. The front office lady seemed like the gate-​keeper with an edge of cranky (cranky with a smile, LOL). And the checkout girl seemed a bit «too busy & too cool» for me. The office sure wouldn’t keep me — but I’ll go wherever Dr Siegel goes.
