Do not buy a home warranty from this company. Their customer service is appalling. I have had an open claim for 8 business days now, and I cannot get through to the customer service, literally. I have sat on hold for hundreds of minutes to find out when the repair will be authorized (which is covered by the way); have left voice mails; emailed customer service; and have no idea how to get a hold of someone there. I will definitely not be renewing my contract with them. Run, don’t walk away, from this company.

I purchased the upgraded HWA on my Florida condo, 3800 North Ocean Dr, Singer Island, Fl. 33 404, which went into effect June 1^st.
The last trip to Florida on June 28^th, I noticed a leak on my dishwasher and called HWA.
The entire situation was a fiasco but all is well that ends well.
The contractor had not called to schedule an appt. still on July 1^st. I called HWA a second time and they put in a second claim to the contractor. Another day, and no call from the contractor. I called him on day 4, and was told he would be there between 9 and 9:30 the following day. At 11 am he still had not shown up and when I called him, he informed me he in fact did not service my area and HWA was contacting someone else. I received no calls to inform me of this. Finally the second contractor arrived. I explained the problem and told him the rubber gasket around the door had previously been replaced 6 months before, and it had not leaked again until now. The contractor said the problem was now a leak on the bottom of the door and he would order a seal for that area to fix the problem.
I received a call, July 9^th, from HWA, and was told that HWA would not be fixing the problem as the dishwasher was not in working order when the contract was signed on June 1^st.
I did not understand this as the dishwasher had not leaked for months, since the gasket had been replaced.
I was told HWA could not help unless I had a home inspection proving this.
So I paid a $ 75 service fee, the cost of repair would have been less than this I am sure. Now they tell me they will not cover this, so the fee is lost.
Worthless.
