All Suite Pet Boarding — real pet bedrooms with beds, rugs, and lots of love! No chainlink runs, no cinderblock, and no cages. 24 hour on site staff. Seven outdoor play yards for your pet’s exercise and play needs. Your pet will enjoy all the comforts of home including central heat and air.

Currently only forty percent of our clientele hails from the pass area. Many regularly make the trek from Orange County, Temecula/​Corona, Palm Desert/​Rancho Mirage, Phoenix and areas far beyond.

Being centrally located between Palm Springs, San Bernardino, and Riverside makes us easily accessible from all areas of California, Arizona and Nevada. Airports in Pam Springs and Ontario are a quick trip on the 10 fwy.

History

Established in 2002.

As the parents of a gentle Golden Retriever, a shy Tibetan Spaniel, an elderly cat, and a happy bird, we knew first hand how hard it was to find a place to care for our pets just as we did. We wanted to know that they felt comfortable, warm, and loved even if it was an unfamiliar environment. In a chain link kennel, that’s hard hard thing to achieve. Our dream was to create a place of warmth and familarity, a second home for many other well loved pets. The Renaissance Pet Resort & Spa opened it’s doors in August 2002 and has been a favorite vacation spot for many four legged friends. When parents travel to distant places around the world or just a few miles away, they know their beloved pets are having fun too!

Business Owner

Katryn’s career has always included animals. Having come from the Veterinary hospital setting, then onto dog and cat training, the creation of a pet resort was a natural transition. She is a Licensed Guide Dog trainer with State of California. Katryn’s afilliation with guide dogs, training and instruction, spans more than a decade and includes hundreds of dogs. Most recently, she was Director of Training for Guide Dogs of the Desert. Katryn and her husband, Don, a contractor, created the Renaissance Pet Resort & Spa from the ground up and have continued their passion together.
