Our business celebrates birth, breastfeeding and bonding – all rights and essentials for mothers and families everywhere. Sometimes people have to overcome barriers to accomplish their goals, and we are here to help moms get on track, or enable them to stay on track, by offering support, advice, education and referrals. We advocate for the mother’s birthing rights and for the breastfeeding dyad and provide exceptional evidence-​based lactation education and breastfeeding teaching tools. The way to change the tide of birthing and breastfeeding in this country is to help moms, one baby at a time.

History

Established in 2011.

We have provided birth and postpartum doula services as well as lactation, prenatal, and childbirth education to our communities for the past five years. Our educators and perinatal professional team are trained, certified and passionate about supporting families. The owner, Christy Jo Hendricks, IBCLC also provides the high quality CAPPA Certified Lactation Educator Course around the state and county.

Business Owner

Christy Jo is an international speaker, author, International Board Certified Lactation Educator, cedrtified doula, certified childbirth educator and mother to three wonderful children.

Christy Jo has been awarded the Presidential Volunteer Award, Who’s Who Among Teacher’s Award, the Phyllis Klaus Award for Positive Impact on Parent/​Infant Bond from DONA International, the Above and Beyond Award for Innovative Practices by Riverside County Department of Public Health, and Lactation Educator Faculty of the Year (2012) by Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association.

She has also been recognized for her children’s book, Mommy Feeds Baby, that promotes and normalizes breastfeeding.
