I’m giving 2 stars only because their flower arrangements are unique and pretty but I’d give 0 stars if I could. I had called in advance to have 10 flower arrangements done for a party and the guy who answered told me all the flowers they had available and to bring in a vase closer to the occasion so that he could see what would work best. I did just that and he ended up screaming at me that he was too busy to take the time to help me out. Luckily I was able to find another business willing to take on the job, needless to say I won’t be coming here ever again. Give Albanse Florists a call 610−588−0441…they won’t scream at you.

Met a representative from J C Bloom at a local bridal expo; she gave me one of her(beautiful) floral arrangements since she was closing up shop and didn’t want to throw it away. In my book, random acts of kindness and non-wastefulness are great, so we made an appointment and ended up choosing J C Bloom as our wedding florist. Pros: * The gentleman who helped us asked lots of questions to make personal suggestions for our tastes and wedding colors. In every meeting, we felt that we were completely on the same page. * We stopped by without an appointment once or twice for a quick question, and there was always someone available(and willing) to help us. Once, they were closed and the manager(who lives behind the business) spotted our car and unlocked the shop just to meet with us. We were impressed by his willingness to do so. * My bridal bouquet was perfect; it was exactly what I envisioned and what we had discussed. Cons: * The bridesmaids’ bouquets were TINY. They’re all petite girls(the heaviest is maybe 130 lbs.), so it’s not that the flowers looked small in comparison; there just weren’t many flowers there. I had printed out pictures ahead of time to show the florist what I wanted, and what he gave me was half that size(at full price, though). * My matron of honor’s bouquet was supposed to have yellow, white, and purple gerbera daisies to match her purple dress. It had yellow, white, and hot pink gerberas. Luckily, the pink didn’t clash too terribly, but he asked for a swatch and promised me it would match, and it didn’t. I would rather him have eliminated the third color than to have taken artistic license. These mistakes didn’t detract from the wedding at all; it just made for a less-than-flawless performance from the florist. We would recommend them, but you might want to ask for sample bouquets or centerpieces to see the size of what you’re paying for.
