The worst veggie roti I’ve ever had. How do you serve veggie roti with cold refrigerated spinach in it? If you’re going to give someone old spinach, at least heat it up! The Caribbean food in Maryland has truly been disappointing, they can get away with this stuff up here because people don’t know any better. The best Caribbean food is in South FL and NYC!
I went to West Indian Flavour II by mistake as I had gone to West Indian Flavour I in the city and it was decent! I guess it may be under the same ownership but not the same cooking standards.

The wheels of commerce are merciless. Businesses come, and they go. Unfortunately, one of my favorite West Indian places to eat is now closed permanently. So one day, with the Incredible Hulk music playing in the background, I shuffle over to West Indian flavour to perhaps get a Neil that would come close to the Great West Indian /​Jamaican flavors that I’m used to. I am SO glad I did! I’m still working on my Trinidadian cuisine, but from what I know this food is really really good. If you going to the right Trinidadian restaurant, you have to get a roti. And West Indian flavour has some of the best. I would write down all the different flavors, or types of roti to get, but I’m too lazy and too hungry.

No words for how good the food is. Get the oxtail. The ladies behind the counter were super friendly and we had plenty for lunch and leftovers. Will eat here again.

You can’t go wrong here! Local, Legit, and delicious Caribbean food. Roti, doubles, sum pholourie… all of it is ecstasy.
I would just use it for Carryout, it may not be the best to dine in at.
