The Law Offices of David M Grossman

I scheduled an appointment for an initial consultation with Mr. Grossman; the office staff was very friendly on the phone.
I showed up a few minutes before our appointment and filled out the usual paperwork. The building was nice but the office was the typical bland feeling you get in most law offices. Mr. Grossman came in late, and about 10 minutes later asked me to come back to his office. This is where things went bad. He obviously hadn’t reviewed the paperwork I had filled out because he had no idea about my situation. He began giving me a very general overview of his practice. Frustrated by his lack of personality I began asking questions about how he could help me. All he could offer was repeating what his practice «specializes» in (more on this later) in between awkward pauses and silences. He could not offer one tiny morsel of actual advice, even if given my situation I should hire him or not.
It turns out his office doesn’t really «specialize» in anything. Good if you’re shopping at Wal-​Mart, but I need someone with SPECIFIC experience in the field of law I need help in. When I asked how many cases similar to mine he had dealt with and shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know.
In summary, two thumbs down — there are so many attorneys in Baltimore, why bother with an unhelpful one with a bad attitude?
