With locations in Baltimore City and Harford, Howard and Prince George’s Counties, we are strengthening Maryland families through parent education, support services, awareness campaigns and advocacy. The Family Tree is a national affiliate of Parents Anonymous®, Prevent Child Abuse America, and The National Exchange Club Foundation.

History

Established in 1974.

The Family Tree has deep roots serving families in Maryland. The Family Tree is the resultant agency of the 1997 merger of two small, but well-known and well-respected child abuse prevention agencies in the state — Parents Anonymous® of Maryland and the Child Abuse Prevention Center. Backed by 30 years of pre-merger experience and twelve years of its own, we have helped over 300,000 families statewide.
