History

Established in 2013.

When deciding on a new name for this local gem, owner David Tobash wanted to harness a connection to the City itself. After much research, and a few tears, our Crew decided on «The Chasseur» (pronounced [sha-sur]). Named after the most successful merchant ship during the War of 1812 and built by the citizens of Baltimore, this ship, as well as Her entire crew, earned its better known nickname, «The Pride of Baltimore,» on Her return to Fells Point on March 15, 1815.
