The Carpet & Air Duct Man

If I could give them 0 starts I would! Stay away from this company! They came to my house to clean my dryer vent. Three guys showed up and were only in my house for 30 minutes. They told me I had a lot of lint in the venting. One guy got some lint out from where the vent exited the house. Another took a vacuum and got some out of the dryer itself, near the lint trap. Then they charged us $ 400!!! After they left I noticed that they never pulled the dryer away from the wall and never cleaned the duct exiting the dryer into the wall. I could not believe they ripped us off this way. I emailed later that week and have never received a response. They are rip off artists!

I would give no stars if I could … After we were referred to him, from a gentleman who cleaned our carpets, Johnny quoted us an outrageous amount for air duct and dryer vent cleaning. He also said he found mold in our filter. We opted to do the dryer alone for $ 276. When the work was done, the dryer vent was still filthy, and they did not clean up after themselves. There was lint tracked all over our basement and laundry room. A bracket that attached the dryer hose to the wall was left on top of the dryer and they used my husbands shop vac to do the hole job.
When my husband called him the next day to follow up, he tried to rush him off the phone saying that he had spent long enough on the phone with him and that he was busy. He also stated that none of his other customers ever complained about using their personal equipment, and that he did us a favor because he fixed a clog in the shop vac before he used it. He also admitted that he fixed the hose using tape, instead of the bracket that was left on the dryer.
The bottom line is that we felt we had been scammed. Had we had fallen for the original estimate of over $ 1000, I would have really been upset. Save yourself some money and find another air duct company. We had someone else come out for a cheaper price and did the work that Johnny claimed he could do. And I almost forgot … They never found any mold!

Johnny came recommended from a friend, so I called him. He set up a day/​time to come over and clean my dryer vent. Johnny came on time and changed me $ 200 for the dryer vent cleaning. He went above and beyond the vent cleaning and cleaned the dryer. The dryer has never worked this great. His guys were professional and cleaned up after the job was done. I will use him again.

We wanted our air vents and returns cleaned. They gave us an estimate with a bunch of addition items that came to over $ 1000.00 When I told them that I did not want the addition items they left. they had taken our furnace apart and did not put it back together. We found another duct cleaner and they arrived and did what we asked for $ 265.00

I can’t say enough about these guys. Our basement flooded after a big storm. A big name company told me the carpet was a loss and wanted nearly 2,000.00 to rip it out and haul it away, at which point I’d need new carpet. Johnny came by on a day’s notice, dried everything out, treated for mold, and relaid the carpet (which he said was completely fine) with new all padding for 1,400.00. It’s like the flooding never happened.
He beat the price of the corporate guys, did more work and did a better job.

I just had my carpets cleaned with this company and the job they did was superb! My carpets are very old and had not been cleaned in a VERY long time. And now they look like new! They also cleaned an area rug in my living room is it looks beautiful again. They did not rush through the job and were very personable.

We called Johnny because we are in the process of moving out of the home we rent. We have badly stained and damaged carpets in our home. We were certain that he would tell us that the carpet would need to be replaced. Johnny assured us that the stains were not an issue and there was no question that he could fix our carpet. Our carpet looks spectacular and he saved us a ton now that we don’t need new carpet. Johnny and his team are prompt, professional, and very courteous.

We had bed bugs and Johnny and his boys knocked them out in one go. They steam cleaned and sprayed all the carpets, the sofa, and the mattress for a really good rate (much better than Orkin and the other corporate exterminators). They even changed out our air filter just because it needed to be changed and hauled our big rug to the dumpster when they left. They were extremely helpful and friendly throughout. I hope I never have to hire him again for bed bugs, but he would be the first person to call. I will definitely call him if I need the carpets cleaned again.
Also, he was very flexible and was able to schedule us within 24 hours of recognizing the bed bug problem, so that was a huge plus!
