Talara is a Nuevo Latino Bistro located in the heart of Harbor East, Baltimore’s première neighborhood to work, live, and play. An enticing Seviche Bar where warm South Beach art deco interior, modern South American cuisine, colorful mojitos and hot salsa rhythms will combine to create the most unique dining experience in Baltimore. Our menu includes a full seviche bar with seven different seviche preparations, salads, tapas, and mid plates (our version of the traditional entrees). History
Established in 2009.
Talara is Chef Proprietor Yves Carreau’s first restuarant in Baltimore. Yves also owns and operates two highly acclaimed and successful restaurants in Pittsburgh, PA. Seviche, Talara’s inspiration and twin sister restaurant, opened in 2007 and has proven to be one of Pittsburgh’s hottest spots for going on three years. The second restaurant, Sonoma Grille, is a California Wine Bistro that offers a superb wine list with over 100 wines by the glass and 300 wines by the bottle… all from California! This earthy and simple concept has been a mainstay in the Pittsburgh dining scene for quite some time. Both restaurants are regulars on Pittsburgh Magazine’s annual 25 Best Restaurants List.
