Station North Tool Library

I can’t believe I get to be the first person to review the Station North Tool Library!
This is hands-​down one of the coolest community resources in the city. For a nominal, sliding-​scale annual membership fee, you have access to an incredible array of tools, classes, and incredible people doing awesome work. Having bought a house last year that’s been in desperate need of updates throughout, I can’t even begin to calculate how much our membership to the Tool Library has saved us in tool rental costs.
We’ve borrowed rakes, sanders, planers, nail guns, and who knows what else. If you have a DIY project on your mind, chances are SNTL can help make it happen.
I haven’t taken a safety class yet but I’m incredibly excited to so that I can start using the public workshop. I can’t wait to start using the woodshop and explore building my own furniture. My husband took their knifemaking class and it inspired him to take up a craft that he never would have been able to explore without the Tool Library.
