For the amount of money that this cruise cost I expected way better. They made us wait serval minutes in the cold rain pass the boarding time. while waiting to be seated you can see that the ship is not clean. the select of drinks that come with the purchase price of the ticket is slim; dark tea, raspberry tea, coffee that taste like water and filter water, where is the soda, oh yeah you gotta pay extra for soda. The food is buffet style and the choices are not upscale food. The plates were dirty and the food was cool not hot. the glasses on the table looked spotty too. they don’t replenish the buffet to well. The best part of the cruise was the«Cruise Director’s signing Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary, He can sign!

***CHECKIN with Unilocal for a FREEDRINK*** You’re welcome. I attended a Salsa Cruise for Valentine’s Day on the boat and was definetely hoping for a lot more. Upon arrival we were sat downstairs in the hip hop floor until the second floor for salsa opened. The tables were just large rectangular tables where you sat first come, first serve. I appreciated that since it forced people to mingle, we weren’t from the area and were able to chat with our neighbors. Pros: 1. They have a variety of food(pulled pork, jerk chicken, mac n cheese, and salads) 2.They have a full bar, but an older lady with blonde hair is terribly slow(go downstairs for the younger guy). 3. There are two floors, so you don’t have to hear only salsa all night. The hip hop floor DJ was significantly better and mixed in reggae, old school and hip hop. 4. The view in the bay is gorgeous at night. Cons: 1. Food is available for the first hour of the night, then they take it away, I personally would’ve preferred it all night. 2. The salsa DJ was terrible, it was like presshing play off an ipod, no mixes or anything. 3. If you do the Valentine’s day cruise, be prepared to freeze to death walking to the boat, even if you stay across the street — it was unbearable. 4. The boat shakes SOOO much that if you get nauseous easily, stay off. 5. Dancing is very difficult bc the dance floors are tiny and then add boat rocking to it. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, I just expected a lot more, especially in terms of ambiance for a Valentine’s day cruise. There were no decorations and the lighting upstairs was bright all night(they could’ve at least dimmed it). If it wasn’t for the fact that we got a couple of free drinks and I was with the love of my life, this could’ve easily been a bust — especially for the price.

Never Ever again, cold food hot ship over priced drinks, running out of food with a half empty ship, I guess that’s why the price for the cruise it self very reasonable, and the sights were amazing, but compared to the Spirit of Washington and the Odyssey, there is no comparison, and on top of it all it was Thanksgivings Day, well you live and learn life goes on, but I really would not recommend The Spirit of Baltimore!!!

Attended a wedding on the boat on 10÷4÷15 and had a pretty good time. Getting onto the boat was hectic as my husband and I were venturing back and forth from the ticket booth to the boat due to miscommunication regarding where tickets would be dispersed, which was not fun. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. I was surprised they served mashed potatoes without gravy but that option was not made available to us. I wasn’t sure if the roast beef was supposed to have BBQ sauce on it or not as it was hardly any of it in the pan and my husband and I was one of the first guests who fixed our buffet style plates. Although not pictured, the cheesecake with strawberry or cherry swirl on the top was by far one of the best desserts offered after dinner. Not sure if they made the bride and grooms cake, but it was definitely much sweeter than I would have preferred. The DJ on the other hand was AMAZING! He played a little bit of gospel, line dance, old skool hip hop/r&b and some new age contemporary R&B which was hand down one of the best experiences the entire night-besides witnessing the wedding ceremony. The singing and cookie offerings when we got off the boat was a delightful treat although the staff seemed cold and tired and tried to keep their spirits up. All in all, I would return if invited to another event but it wouldn’t be my first choice in terms of a celebration destination/location.

Attend a lunch cruise with my family reunion. There had to be about 50+ of us on this cruise. The cruise started on time and we all boarded. The dining room was really clean but was super cramped. I guess b/c o our large party it was hard moving in and out of the seats. The buffet overall was pretty good but I was really expecting to see some type of seafood … shrimp at the minimum seeing that we are on the harbor. The DJ was exciting and entertaining and kept my family up dancing. After lunch we ventured up on the deck and since it was a nice day outside had a pretty good view. Overall we had a nice lunch and it seems like it would be a good date night !

This dinner cruise was ok. The ship never goes faster than about five knots and it goes out past the Key bridge then turns around and comes back in. I wish it went further out into the Chesapeake. I realize the ship goes slow so that it doesn’t rock and create a mess but a little faster and farther would be nice. The meal was so-so. We stayed on the top observation deck for a bit to avoid the herd at the buffet line and by the time we go there the food was barely warm. The steam tables don’t keep anything hot. I bought the romance package as my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and her birthday. We also did the guaranteed window table. The window seat is not worth it in my opinion, especially if the weather is awesome like it was the night of our cruise. We spent most of the time on the top observation deck and only sat at the table to eat. The romance package was a nice touch. The half dozen roses and bottle of champagne was worth it to me. The staff were great and very attentive. They were always asking if we needed anything. We’re glad we did the cruise but for the price I expected more. On a plus, they do validate parking and we ended up paying just $ 6 for parking instead of the $ 20 we would’ve been charged. Just make sure you park in the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore hotel lot on West Lee Street to get the validation discount.

Our convention had a dinner cruise tonight and we had a very nice time. The crew we interacted with was nice and polite, every single one of them. The boat ride was very smooth and we loved the scenery of the inner harbor, the landmarks and bridges, and especially Fort McHenry. The middle deck filled up fast, so we moved down one level to the lower deck and it was much more manageable and comfortable. Our dinner was quite good — a bountiful buffet of roast chicken, short ribs, pasta, tilapia, salmon, mashed potatoes, sauteed broccoli, all sorts of salad fixings, and a very nie pastry assortment. Beverage service worked well, and the staff was very pleasant and efficient. Not much of anything to complain about!

I realllllly enjoyed the lunch hour cruise. Food was good. Wasn’t delicious nor was I really exoecting it to be. But it was good. They could probably improve the dessert options. DJ was great. He and a waiter sang happy birthday to the folks who were celebrating … and both their voices were beautiful. The DJ was very energetic which started people to start talking to each other. The top deck was relaxing. Nice outdoor sofas. Perfect amount of time to enjoy the view and the ride. The bathrooms were quite smelly. I walked near them and turned right around… i wasnt about to be using the restroom with that horrible smell. Please remodel or do something about that… as everything else on the ship was great. Wait staff were awesome!!! Very friendly and professional… including the manager. Another suggestion is… military discount isnt advertised nor offered if booked on the web. There should be some disclosure to say if you want military discount, please call. Or make this option available online… and show proof at the time of tix pick up.

I was a little skeptical because of some of the reviews listed. But I have to say that me and my family had a great time! Food was great and so was the customer service. Will definitely be back!

Went on the Jazz Cruise on May 30th, and was so disappointed. We left an half an hour late, but came back on time, so we were cheated of the amount of time we payed for, and we did not cruise down to the bridge like they normally do! To top it all of the food was horrible, and the menu was the pits. I payed $ 59, and did not receive my monies worth all the way around. Soggy chicken tender’s, tasteless meatballs, and soggy spring rolls, and $ 5.00 for a soda, ridiculous.

Did a Valentine’s dinner cruise with my wife. The food was good as far as buffet style goes. Atmosphere was fun. We met some really nice people on board so that made it all the more fun. Overall is was a good experience. The DJ(Andy I think) was entertaining. Our server(Tina I believe) was very attentive and was readily available. The only issues we noted were the restrooms needed some attention. Also they definitely need more bar staff. The wait times between drinks were extremely excessive. Borderline infuriating at times. For what we paid for the over priced drinks, you’d expect better service there. Not that I really cared about the price as it was really more about the experience. But yes TOTALLY need more bar staff to adequately support the number people on board ordering drinks. All in all, still a good time.

I went on a late night«party boat» event given by fraternity. The buffet consisted of wings, meatballs, Mac & Cheese, Salad and pulled pork. The food was sub par and a total waist of the calories. The meatballs were extra salty. The chick wings didn’t looks fully cooked. The salad was poured out of a bag i.e. just lettuce no tomatoes, cucs etc. I didn’t try the other items as they looked sooo unappetizing. The bars were stocked pretty well but the drinks were way over priced. Twice on this three hours cruise I barely put my plastic drink cup down before someone from the staff picked it up and threw it out. Maybe I wanted that ice or something. When I said something to the person that did this they gave me attitude. The restrooms were beyond smelly and added average experience. The music was good for this event as the group brought in their own DJ’s. I won’t go to another event on the Spirit of Baltimore.

My husband booked this as an anniversary dinner on July 5th. The hostess was lively, Marcus was very friendly, the waitress was just well-Nothing special there. I asked for a bottle of the spring water-flat; she brought out sparkling. The food would have been excellent if it was hot– sadly it was not. So after we ate we fled to to top deck. Several times our waiter came up and looked right at us– she didn’t say anything to us. Other wait staff checked on their parties– and brought them up dessert. I was then sure ours was a waitress in training. We enjoyed the cruise, didn’t really think the staff was attentive to us– except at the end when she finally presented a bill– saying she was looking all over for us. I thought that was rude– I mean where would we go? We are on a boat-it’s not as if we would jump! We were on the upper deck the entire night after we ate dinner. We didn’t go up and down levels or to the facilities to hide from her. We stayed out in plain view. So we got our $ 6.00 bill and gave her a small tip. Her tip would have been huge if she would have gone the extra mile by bringing us dessert and offering to get us more drinks. Just a suggestion for the next party you serve. Oh– and not insulting us since you could not remember what we looked like/or didn’t want to come up the stairs.

Pretty decent overall. We chose the 60 minute cruise with no meal for $ 18.02 per person($ 20 after taxes and fees.) Learning about the history of the various places in the inner harbor was cool. Also, the ship is lovely and sitting on the too deck was awesome. They did start 10 mins late, though. Also, sometimes as the captain was trying to talk about the history, the music would just cut him off. Also the drinks prices are outrageous. $ 6 for a bottle of water. $ 12.50 for a «premium cocktail.» Overall, not a bad experience. I’d probably go back one day, maybe even do the nighttime dinner cruise.

Take a very good friend on the lunch cruise for her birthday. Actually, it was the day before her birthday due to the cruise availability. Super! Got some enhancements to have a table for two by a window. They delivered and then some! The buffet lunch had a good variety, fresh and tasty dishes. Good. Andrew, our server or steward, was great. He was attentive to our needs. The DJ and entertainment was wonderful. Sierra, one of the staff, has the knack for getting folks to dance and have a great time. Great sense of humour and ability to get people to try something new. The view of the harbour and the waterways from our table and from outside decks was great. Wonderful way to spend the afternoon and well worth the money. Thank you Sprit of Baltimore cruises!

Me and my wife decided to go on a cruise Friday night on the Sprit of Baltimore. They had all you can eat station which included chicken, salmon, salad and other items on the minus. I was surprise to find that all items was season properly. I was disappointed that you were given one free drink and any other drink would cost you a outrageous price. The tour basically consisted of eating dinner taking a ride down to the Key Bridge. I enjoyed the top lounge because it gave you a change to have some one on one time with your love ones and look at the stars on your return trip. So yes I would recommend this Minnie cruise to anybody who wants to spend a night out on the town who you care about.
