This cruise terminal was horrible during this cruise departure. We arrived and paid $ 15 per day to park(total of $ 105/wk). You could use cash or credit, but the cash line moved rather quickly. We were given a colored paper to place on our dash and directed to the row where we parked. We were assisted by the terminal staff in unloading our luggage and it was placed in a wheeled carrier to be placed on board. The staff were pleasant and we tipped $ 1 per bag. We then ushered ourselves to the indoor embarkation terminal with our carry on bags. This was where the nightmare began. We were in our first line that snaked to the end for 30 minutes or so, then we underwent the TSA process of having our carry on items examined in the same manner as going through airport security. On the side l observed numerous bottled beverages and liquor that did not comply with TSA and Carnival guidelines(l wonder what they do with the unopened items?) After passing through this phase(all of 10 minutes), we were guided to a section and met by another terminal staff member(reminiscent of a high school principal) and given a number and directed to be seated until our number was called. Of of the countless times l have cruised, l have never had to endure this process. We were seated in this crowded area for another 45 minutes. Our number was called and we were directed to another line(for about 10 minutes) and finally reached the cruise counter where our passports were checked, we were photographed and finally issued our sail and sign cards. Once cards were in hand we made our way up the ramp, handed our cards to the Carnival staff to check us in and we were officially onboard ready to cruise. The entire process from parking to reaching the ship took around 3 hours. Totally unacceptable. Maybe it was a fluke during our embarkation, but this experience makes me question leaving from this port in the future.

A great cruise terminal which is really close to the 95 exit. Even so, it could get a little bit confusing where and when to turn from the freeway exit. There are tons of people directing you once you get into the terminal, so its hard to get lost. Parking is a bit expensive($ 15/day), but that is to be expected. The people running security are pleasant and the terminal clean. Great way to start off a vacation~

Boarded a cruise here the other week. Overall, the process was pretty smooth. This is a small terminal and we were the only ship in port so it wasn’t too hectic unlike some of the bigger terminals. After driving in, we were directed to where we could tag our luggage which was an easy process. Then, we got in line for parking. Parking is $ 15 a day which sucks but is pretty standard. You can pay by cash or credit card, but the line for cash is much shorter. Then you need to go through security to board the ship, which is similar to going through security at the airport. Every worker I encountered at the terminal had a great attitude and was very friendly. One thing I must mention, is one of my bottles of wine, which was packed very securely, arrived at my cabin broken. Which the cruise line told me most likely happened at the terminal due to mishandling. Thankfully, the cruise line rectified the situation. But, I wouldn’t pack anything in your checked baggage that could be broken. Still, I wouldn’t mind cruising out of here again.

This is a really great cruise terminal that is really easy to get to off of I-95. The pre boarding security procedures are really very quick and efficient and the terminal workers and crew do their assigned jobs and tasks very well. This is where you board the splendid and beautiful Carnival Pride. at
