History

Established in 2015.

Snake Hill is located in present day Highlandtown, Baltimore, MD. Up thru the late 1800’s, the area was called Snake Hill. It was a growing community of Brewers and Butchers… not so much a snake infested area, lol. In 1870, the community changed it’s name (for obvious reasons) to Highland Town. Once it was Annexed to the City in 1918, it was condensed to Highlandtown… and that’s where we are today! Today, Snake Hill, the Bar/Restaurant, is a subtle reminder of what corner bars in Baltimore once were… except we have 70 different beers, gourmet sausages and a general lack of prejudice :)
