Had big hopes for this place! Good BALT but it came with no mayo, after adding it was pretty good despite the mediocre bacon. The fries were actually the best part of my meal. Girlfriend got the salmon cakes which were dry with a bland dill sauce… meh. Mashed potatoes were ok, I’ve had better instant mashed potatoes. LASTBUTNOTLEAST the crab dip was fricken terrible. Highly over-seasoned with Cajun. Almost like taking a bite of cream cheese that you dipped in Cajun seasoning. I am pretty lax on crab dip reviews since it’s pretty easy to make«cream cheese/mayo/more cheese/crab» but damn this was straight up inedible.

Silks has a really great beer selection that they update quite frequently. After coming home from NOLA, I had a beer there that I couldn’t find anywhere else. until I stopped by Silks. They had Andygator on tap(this beer isn’t always on tap, but if you see this anywhere, order it. It’s amazing!) ! I was so happy! I also ordered the tot nachos which were decent. I wasn’t totally in love with them, but they were too interesting sounding to pass up. It had cheese sauce, pico de gallo, chicken(usually comes with beef) and jalapenos. It’s a nice off the square bar to go to with an awesome beer selection.

We stopped by Silks for an impromptu dinner. They had a very nice draft selection, and that was about all that we liked. To start, we split the seafood platter, which turned out to be entirely fried. There wasn’t any warning of that on the menu, so I was shocked and not for the better. We ate it regardless, and boy that was a mistake. My boyfriend and I were both keeling over in pain later that night. After the platter, we split a cheesesteak, which was pretty bland. Nothing special. I might come back here for a quick drink. Maybe.

I was reluctant to review Silks at all, let alone accurately, for purely selfish reasons. If you live in the neighborhood and are over the age of 27, you know that a quiet spot with delicious food, strong drinks and good service is a bit of a unicorn. Silks has an affordable and tasty menu, daily cocktail specials, friendly staff– and most importantly– there is normally plenty of space for you and your posse even on a Friday or Saturday evening. I recommend their burgers and I have heard rave reviews of their cheese steaks. Added bonus — dog friendly outdoor seating. But seriously, you shouldn’t go there. You should go somewhere else.

Nice beer selection, burgers were pretty good but skip the Chicken Chesapeake. Rubbery chicken and crab that has nothing but black pepper flavor.

There were very few people here on a Friday night which was good for us — people with toddlers. This place has a great neighborhood feel. Fresh food, good drink and beer list, friendly staff and lots of TVs. Nothin extraordinary but worth a visit.

You can’t go wrong with righteous bar food and 32 beers on tap! Plus there’s a crazy bartender on Saturday nights who goes by Ricky Bobby(I think his name is Tim?) – always a great time when he’s behind the bar. Hands down my favorite chill neighborhood bar!

Loved the burgers! It helps that they were on special for only 6 bucks… I’ll be honest, it’s not clear to me if that’s a daily special or not but I would not have been upset to pay the full price(~12) for either burger we had. And the sidewinder fries were great! Very well seasoned. The coleslaw was honestly the only weak point… I wouldn’t pay the extra money for it again… I wouldn’t even choose it over chips for free. We will definitely be back for more.

I have a feeling I’m going to quickly become obsessed with Silks. A friend of a friend is the bartender but that’s not the best part about Silks although we do like him(hi Joey!). The best was the $ 6 burger I had on Sunday afternoon. The bacon cheeseburger– YUM! You can get a Boh Tower which is ginormous and a lot of Natty Boh but sorry can’t remember how much beer comes with it. It’s $ 18 and great for a group! Quick service and a nice little spot around the corner for us. YAY Silks!

Small spot with a lot of charm! Bartender was very friendly and prices are fair. Specials look like they are more then worth it, $ 5 bombs and lots of happy hour specials. Good selection of craft brews(staple in Baltimore bars) good selection but not over powering with choice of liquor. Which is a great thing, finally a bar that realizes you don’t need 37 flavor choices of vodka, tequila and whiskey!

The food was pretty good. The French dip was my only complaint it was just a cheese steak sub with an juice. The fries were amazing and service was impeccable. I am more then willing to come back just won’t get a French dip again.

We go there a few times a week because we love Brian. Donny is great too. We eat there occasionally and the food is pretty good. However today we had an experience that unfortunately may keep us from going back. I was aggravated but my husband walked out. I don’t want to put it into detail but let’s just say the kitchen can’t be managed and there is a reason why the seats are never full. A simple request of «dressing on only half the salad» was answered by «f#!? that! we aren’t doing it.» Honestly they could use the business but just lost ours. Trust me when I say we know«the business» and the request was an easy one. Wish them well and Brian we will see you out hopefully soon but not at silks!

I went into Silks on a Sunday morning for brunch. The place was very nice and clean, the bartender was knowledgeable and very helpful. The 3 stars is due to the food. I order Eggs Benedict and the eggs came out fried, if you are a restaurant that is going to serve Eggs Benedict atleast mention on the menu that the eggs are not poached or do not offer such a specific dish and then change it. I will be back but only to order basic items and drinks

Great food and service. Love the crab mac and the honey old bay wings. They have a good beer list and nice upscale casual type of setting. Good for all occasions.

Silks is my go to for brunch. I like it because the bar atmosphere is relaxed and upscale at the same time. The bar area has many windows providing great natural lighting. The biscuit with creamed chip beef gravy is very hearty and delicious. The biscuit comes out light and buttery with a nice crunchy outside. The chipped beef gravy is very smooth and thick with a large proportion of beef mixed in. They also are offering a great selection of craft beers including Southern Tier 2XMAS one of my all time favorites, as well as mimosas and full selection of liquors.

Though I have not dined at Silks, yet, I keep finding myself here everytime I go out in Canton. The staff is awesome and brings a great vibe to the atmosphere, which is mainly relaxed during the weekdays. Beer selection is above average and the mix drink selection are averagely priced, but the availability of daily /weekly drink specials helps to make this location a great place to stop in and get a few drinks — even after happy hour — and save cash. One plus is the Bloody Mary buffet — one set price, large selection(it has been a while since I was here during the weekends when this is offered so it may be a thing of the past). 4 stars — definitely worth checking out whether you are drinking /dining /or just hanging out i’d recommend Silks — Canton.

Silks is a great addition to the Canton corner bars in this area. It has the right amount of unique Baltimore style and class. Our service has always been top notch, and the place emits a fun vibe. I’ve been there for a crowded ravens vs. steelers game, as well as a happy hour one rainy evening, and have thoroughly enjoyed both. One special I’ve enjoyed is their $ 6 cheesesteak, which was delicious(and very low price). We also tried the BALT(bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato), which was excellent. The fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Like, worth getting even though you’re trying to stick to your New Year’s resolution good. I really love this place and would recommend it to anyone! We will be back!

Food was just okay and drinks were pretty expensive. However, they make very delicious crushes(as all Baltimore bars must)

Bartenders are great! Food was delicious, especially the fries. It’s a fun neighborhood bar where everyone seems to know each other or get to know each other. Request some 90s music and a cheesesteak with all the kinds of cheese
