They should be ashamed of themselves for impersonating a Credit Union. I recently reviewed my mother-in-law’s bank statements since 2008 and I am totally disgusted by their low rates, high fees, and predatory behavior. I have sued banks for less. I would never recommend them.

Love it how Security Plus FCU is suppose to be there for the customers but in fact their Customer Service is the same rating by my personal experience as the Top Named Banks. They hit me with fees when I told them not to as I filled out forms online and in person to prevent overdraft charges from being paid and charged. Theres 2 options, Opt-​In to Overdraft Protection for Security Plus to take care of the payment and charge a fee or Opt-​Out to Overdraft Protection and not let a single charge hit the account and give the message «Declined». I chose Opt-​Out and they discard the forms by throwing them out as I mailed in a form with delivery confirmation on it. I called to ask if they received the form and a CSR said «No we have not received a form» Yet the Delivery Confirmation verified as being delivered days prior. I fill out the form online and they said «We have no record of you requesting these changes» when in fact I screenshot all the requests made online. They close my checking account without me knowing as they said I have not made a transaction in 14 days, thus we closed your account and opened up a savings account for you.” Thats one thing I liked so far about Security Plus. Then received another letter in the mail saying «Your check card has been deactivated as you no longer have a checking account» I called up to request another checking account and they said «We’re sorry, we can’t do that for you» WTH !! When I get a day, I will go to Security Plus to close out my account and go with a better bank.

I refinance Home Equity Line of Credit for my primary residence for better % and more $. I am so happy to deal with this bank .
