Good looking bakery with nicely displayed baked goods. My favorite so far is their German chocolate cake. It’s very rich, moist and of course chocolatey. Their display goes around the corner so check out the whole selection. I saw a desk at the end of the small side alley so they might take custom orders too. Check them out! Staff is welcoming and friendly.

I left a review for this place ten months ago and while the compliments still stand, there have been many improvements and I have sampled a larger variety of pastries than I previously discussed.
First, they have changed the staff a bit and they are friendlier. They also know me now, so that helps I’m sure! Second, they have bought new display cases that can hold more items. Lastly, they also upped their decorating game. The pastries look like they have a higher presentation and quality than before. (Pictures will follow this tomorrow). They were already excellent in terms of taste and texture, so this just is the icing on the cake!
They have Éclair’s, sweet potato pie, and German chocolate cake that are all to die for. I have tried most of their danishes and would highly recommend the cherry and cheese one if it’s there. The turnovers are not the best I’ve tried, but they are decent. The cookies and cupcakes have been consistently decent as well. The real star of their bakery remains the cakes.
They have also branched out creatively in terms of cheesecakes. They even have mango cheesecake with real mangoes inside of the cake, and on top.
Pricing remains beyond reasonable. For my slice of mango cheesecake, I only paid $ 3. Cookies are $ 2 for three, and the danishes are $ 1 – 2 each. You can get a slice of plain chocolate or lemon pound cake for a dollar as well.
Really, if this place was in Fells or anywhere else they would have a line out the door all day. I’m so glad they’re close to Hopkins — although my waist isn’t!
