Mike came out, gave me an estimate. Seems honest. Process to get an estimator out was painless. Will update if we use them to replace our roof.

I had a leaky skylight I wanted removed on an old Baltimore row home. They took it out and covered the hole. There have been many strong rain storms since then and not one drop of water has come through my roof. Couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Useless and rude.

«We don’t work on roofs with decks.»
«Hmm, ok can you refer someone who does?»
«Nope.» silence
UMMM, every other house in South Baltimore has a roof deck?! Are you kidding?! You don’t even KNOW of one of your competitors that «works on roofs with decks»!!! If that is their policy fine but you can’t own a roofing business in this neighborhood and not be able to
even HELP with this! I’m shocked.
I’m flabbergasted that that convo just happened.

I’ve used DiBello in the past as was happy then but now not so much. Workers seem to be of South of The Boarder decent which disappointed me. When I was asking for an estimate for the lower roof only, I also asked to have someone look at the rest of the roof and tighten anything they might find. Guys came and went and the job they did looks nice and keeps the rain out but noone touched the rest of the roof. Language barrier maybe. I called and they said they would look at the roof when someone was in the nieghborhood, it’s been weeks and I haven’t seen a soul. I’ll be climbing on the roof to do it myself I just know it. Lastly and more importantly were the nails left around the house, I picked up a few but must have missed one since it became buried in my youngest son’s foot. Trip to Patient’s First and a Tetanus shot later and I’m back outside to look around the yard. It’s sad I only want to be able to call and trust a contractor but it doesn’t look like I’m finding it at DiBello.

Caveat: these guys have not done work for me, but I am impressed with their honesty/​business ethics. I asked them to come give me an estimate on some minor slate roofing repair work for a recent purchase. They told me I should have whoever did it come and repair since it should be under warranty, and if they worked on it it may void an existing warranty. I appreciated the honesty! They could have done it but gave me very good advice instead.

Friendly and pretty reasonably priced. Guy did the work. As I expected and I like when I get what I expect.

Dibello Roofing was quick to come out and see my roof and the work that needed to be done. I’m still waiting for an estimate… I was told that I would get it the next day… that was 3 weeks ago. I called to inquire about the estimate and was told that I would get it… and never did.
This was not the first time I’ve tried to get someone to work on my roof. Why is it imposible to get roofers to do work? Are they rolling in so much dough that they don’t need the work? ARGH!
