Norris Honda

I bought a new Honda CRV at Norris Honda. I had an ok experience buying the car, and the purchase included two years of basic service. I came in for a oil change about a year later. Despite having an appointment and only needing a basic oil change, it took the service department nearly two hours to finish. I spent that time in the waiting room listening to offensive evangelical television (the «700 club»). My time is way more valuable than a «free» oil change; I won’t be back!

I bought a brand new 2013 Honda Accord in 2012 and got a great deal. The customer service was awesome and I have been taking my car back for service and they have been continually nice and helpful. Last two times I brought my car in they worked very hard to get me the best deal. The service guy even found a coupon online without me asking just to help me save some money. Awesome place!

My brother has a Honda Accord that’s burning oil and caused the catalytic converter to become defective. Honda put a warranty on this problem due to the high failure rate. His car fell under the warranty guidelines. The service writer told him he would have to purchase the converter for $ 1000 before they would consider any warranty repairs. We got the service manager involved. This guy didn’t care and was very unprofessional. Told us the same thing. We called Honda direct to file a claim in progress. We’ll see what happens. What I can say is this dealership does not stand behind there factory warranty. They try to charge us for a converter that is supposed to be covered under there oil consumption warranty. And won’t look at the car till you pay them. What a bunch of low rate thiefs!!!

These guys are the best! Will is great. They weren’t trying to oversell me and even saved me money on a couple occasions by telling me not to get things or wait to do things. They could have just not said anything and I would have paid for it because that is what I went for service. First class service and establishment!

Their «express» service for an oil change took 65 minutes. I had been told to expect less than 40. Two male customers who drove in after me were done before I was. I was told my paperwork was ‘lost’ for 10 minutes when they called me back to see if they could add on more services for another $ 350. After I declined it was another 20 minutes before the car was ready. The car had a funny smell when it was returned and they didn’t put in any windshield washer fluid.

I am extremely displeased with the service department. My Honda is three years old and I bring it in to the service department at Norris for every maintenance. I purchased new breaks in September and they continue to squeak. I brought it back in and was told there wasn’t a problem. UNACCEPTABLE service. This is a rip-​off

Beware of the best price VS finance rate scam.
I bought my first car, a civic here. I am from india.
The sales rep was friendly and after some haggling I thought I got a very good price.
Then came the financing part. I was given a 2% rate more than normal for an almost excellent credit score. I just assumed that, those are the rates for excellent credit scores.
My mistake was, I did not shop around for the loan.
So, it looked like they gave me a great price, but took back more than that via interest rate.
I may buy here again, but now I am a more informed customer.

My mom went for a diagnostic bc she heard a noise in her 2007 Honda Civic. The advisor told her to do the diagnostic for $ 100 and she would get it taken off her repair. She was advised of almost $ 1500 of urgent repairs. We knew something was fishy bc I was visiting her over the weekend and looked at her brake pads and there was plenty of pad left, however, when he looked at the pads he said they needed to be changed immediately. He said this car was unsafe to drive and tires had very little tread. She got very worried but spending $ 1500 for repairs that seemed incorrect wasn’t a good idea. She was willing to do some (about $ 800 worth) of repairs from them. Then the advisor said he wouldn’t credit the $ 100 unless she did everything! He NEVER told us that before we swiped the card and agreed to pay the $ 100. I advised her to walk out of there and that we didn’t do business with liars! I already knew he wasn’t telling the truth about the brake pads and now this!
She was scared that something would be wrong with the car so we went somewhere else and he said it wasn’t unsafe and advised much less work than what Norris had.
When I called the service manager, Donna, she was apologetic about what happened but would NOT refund the $ 100. I explained that this service manager represents her and Norris and when he screws up, they have to make considerations. She said that’s how the tech gets paid. If her establishment does unethical things she has to be held responsible for that, not me! Instead of pulling it out of Norris’ budget, she decided to make a customer unhappy! What a terrible business decision for a measly $ 100, I write this review and now even if she loses 1 customer she lost a LOT more than $ 100 in future service! Not a smart business decision!

Just bought a car there yesterday. Great price, good people. They didn’t add any unexpected charges to the price of the car (destination fee, document charge, taxes/​title/​registration). When their finance people told me that they could give me an offer as good as my credit union I thought they were lying. They weren’t. They didn’t even try to sell me any unnecessary warranties — they only suggested one that I actually needed and intended to buy anyway.
I worked with John Heiser — highly recommend.

ALWAYS SELLING SOMETHING!
So I had a recall for my power steering fluid that I needed to take care and I let the service technician know that my Navigation system needs to be turned back on after a battery change. So he tells me that it’s 50 to turn it back on.
REALLY!!!
So I’m sitting in the lobby and looked online and saw that I could have just done it myself

Went there looking for a ml350 benz because they had it listed on their website for around $ 14,000.
Turns out the car was not available anymore so that’s a downer. But the sales guy was very very professional in the used cars lot. And he even showed me some other car’s along with their carfax.
Overall. Will return if looking for the types of cars they have.

I’m new to the Baltimore area and was looking for an Honda dealership for my minivan. Excellent service that was quick, friendly with no upsale of service. I am going to come back for more service needs. Waiting room was decent with a TV

This is a review for the service department.
Getting my car serviced at Norris Honda is well worth the drive. I originally purchased my vehicle from here, and although I subsequently moved to another part of the city I still think it’s worth driving back here to get my car serviced. I had been debating about it for a while, but this most recent trip fully convinced me to stay. The staff here is always friendly and helpful (although they do strongly prefer that you have your coupons printed out in advance before you come in and you have to show them right away at check-​in). I’ve never had any problems with the work done here, and they’re usually pretty honest and up-​front about what needs to be done on your car right away and what you can put off. On this latest trip, they were actually very helpful in pointing out some problems that turned out to be caused by a bad repair job that was done at another facility (due to an accident insurance claim), and said they were willing to talk to the other facility about the damage, as it was likely due to the accident and should have been addressed by the other facility. They were very supportive and polite; so I’m definitely going to stick with them in the future!

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!
I was told by a friend about a great deal they had on leases for a 2013 Honda Accord LX. He gave me the exact number he was paying. I called Matt from the dealership who told me he would give me the same price. He also said he would match the trade in price I got from Carmax and that the tax credit would enable me to get the Sport version at the same price he quoted me. I went in and he took my car to get valued for a trade in. He came back with an offer that was $ 500 less than Carmax. When I asked him about his promise to match, he said the $ 500 tax credit would make up the difference. That was not what he told me on the phone (which is why I brought it there as opposed to carmax). After much haggling they upped the offer to match it but told me if I wanted the Sport it would be $ 35 more a month. When I asked why it wasn’t the same price he told me on the phone, he made up some BS about that price being before tax and that this what he told me. I completely lost patience and took the car because they had already taken my trade in to the other lot and I had already been there for an hour and a half.
They told me I would have a statement and my tags within a few weeks. Its been 60 days and I still have not gotten either. When I called Matt after 2 weeks to find out where my trade in check was he told me i would have it within a week. No such luck. I then called again after 30 days to find out why I hadn’t received a check for my trade in, a statement, or my tags he told me about some medical emergency and that’s why things were backed up. He said he no longer wanted to help me and if I had any questions I could speak to the manager. I called the manager who told me he would have the check sent out (minus my first months payment which was already overdue) and that I would receive a staement within a week or 2. It is now 60 days. I received my check but still no bill or tags. I called Honda today, they said my lease doesn’t exist and my name is not in the system yet. They said they still have not received my paperwork from Norris. I just spoke to Dale at the dealership, he said he has my tags and he will send them out and that I have a 2^nd payment due which I need to make over the phone so I won’t be overdue again.
All in all this was the worst experience I have ever had and every single person at Norris seems to have dropped the ball. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

Loved my experience here! Becky and Brian were exceptional. They worked together to be sure I got the specific car I wanted in the time I wanted it for the price I wanted. Brian went way beyond expectations when it came to the installation of my spoiler. I would recommend anyone to work with these guys the were the best

Brittany Martin is a great sales person. She is a very knowledgeable, and you can tell she really loves her job. She foremost exceeded all my expectations when it comes to buying a vehicle. I ended up purchasing the 2013 Honda Civic and Love it.

Over the past couple years we have purchased 2 vehicles from Norris Honda. The dealership has been a pleasure to deal with from the salespeople to the managers.
They will give you the best deal. Norris also found us the color we wanted and had it delivered that day. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Honda.

So the second time I went here, the folks at Norris found out that all kinds of things that should have been done by the dealership in Chicago that sold my car to me as a certified used Honda had NEVER been done. The car came to me with around 40k miles on it and had not once had either of its air filters changed. The transmission fluid was dirty. And the tires were below acceptable tread depth.
My service advisor and the service manager rooted for me and provided me with surreal but entertaining conversation and some moral support while I argued with the old Honda dealer on the phone and eventually got them to promise to reimburse me speedily for repairs. I was glad to have had the clear explanations and good, patient company that I got from Norris in the meantime.
Among other things, they showed me some of the parts that were issues, which people used to do all the time for my dad when I was little, but no one seems to do for me in this day and age.
I appreciated all this a lot and would highly recommend these folks for ANY service your Honda needs.

I LOVE the service center here. They are always courteous and efficient and I’ve never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes (tip: it always helps to call ahead to see if they have room in their schedule, but this should be a given). They give a complimentary car wash on every visit and their waiting area is clean and offers free wifi.
I normally come here to get my oil changed but my last visit was a result of a terrible time trying to find a battery for my Honda Fit. Sears didn’t carry the battery I needed and Autozone only had the battery at a select location for $ 150. I had been trying to avoid going to the dealership on the advice of others who claim that I would pay more but I finally decided to bite the bullet and go to a place that could definitely help me. I rushed in 15 minutes before the service department closed and was completely prepared to leave the car overnight and get a rental car. However, the service department was able to change my battery in 10 minutes and it only cost $ 114! I was in and out in 20 minutes and paid much less than I expected.
This is the only dealership I’ve been to that has consistently offered good service and has not tried to rip me off. I refuse to take my car anywhere else.

I can only speak for the new car sales department. I haven’t used their service center or used car center.
I can’t say enough nice things about Norris Honda. Ask for Becky – she was fantastic.
After several very frustrating weeks of car shopping and only encountering rude, aggressive salesmen, working with Becky was a breath of fresh air. She was friendly, honest and patient with my endless questions. The financing process was quick and painless. There were no high-​pressure up-​sells. I bought a 2012 Honda Civic from Norris at a fair price and they gave me a great deal on my trade-​in. Becky explained every feature and option, went over all the numbers carefully and found me the exact car that I wanted. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Everyone I encountered at the dealership was very friendly and helpful.
I will be sending my friends here with no hesitation.
