Monro Muffler Brake & Service

I didn’t get my car serviced here primarily due to the guy on the phone (Travis i believe) being a total pain in the ass. I inquired about a particular service and asked him how much he charges, and rather than tell me he says «I can beat any quote», so I tell him «I’m not looking for you to beat a quote, I just need to know how much you charge». He goes on about how he can’t tell me how much it is blah blah blah, so finally I tell him how much another shop priced me for (OVER THE PHONE and I did not need to drive over there or get hassled) and he’s like «Well you have to come into the shop and I need to see the quote in writing». Needless to say I didn’t even bother with him and just went with another shop.
If a Monro employee is reading this FYI: when I customer ask how much a service is just tell them, no need to hassle them to try and get your business. I will not be doing business with this location ever again.

I’m writing to inform you (or whoever is reading this) of the worst customer service I’ve received to this date in my life. Please excuse the hyperbole, but it really is the worst experience I’ve had as a customer at any business in my life. Unfortunately, it happened at one of your branches (5641 Baltimore National Pike, Baltimore). I came in today just to get an oil change/​tire rotation, and was greeted with an eye roll just for walking in the door. The man (who identified himself as the only one working that day) then tersely informed me that he was the only one working, that he had a lot of cars ahead of me, that he was in the middle of a project, that he was all by himself, and that he was leaving at five and didn’t care if he got to my car or not. He was immediately abrasive, rude, and remarkably displeased just at my walking in the door. Please keep in mind the only thing I’ve said to this point is, «Hi, I’m here to get an oil change and tire rotation». After your employee’s impromptu speech, I told him I would find somewhere else to go. I went to Jiffy Lube, was treated immediately with courtesy and respect, and was given the exact same service in 15 minutes. The kind of customer service I received at Monro is inexcusable. I rarely care to write companies because I understand that customer service has steadily decreased over the years, but at the bare minimum I still expect a certain degree of decorum that your employee failed to even approach from a long distance. While I understand this is most likely not indicative of the experience at most branches, I can safely say that I will never go to Monro for any service ever again.
