Originally established in 1965 by Elizabeth Byrd Mitchell, the Mitchell School of Fine Arts provides professional fine art instruction to beginner and advanced students in the tradition of the European Masters. Small classes provide students with a high degree of personal attention, and the experienced faculty teaches creative problem solving skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. The convenient location and flexible class schedule make creating art possible for even the busiest family.

Meet the Business Owner

Trevor T.

Business Owner

Creative Director and Owner, a Baltimore native, Trevor returns to his hometown after having trained with some of the world’s leading artists. Trevor’s views have been profoundly influenced by Myron Barnstone at the Barnstone Studios whose method of teaching stresses classical drawing and design. Trevor’s work has been exhibited at Sande Webster Gallery in Philadelphia, and galleries throughout the country. A graduate of Baltimore’s Boy’s Latin School of Maryland, Trevor went on to earn a B. S. Degree in Art and Architecture from Lehigh University. He then graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
