Loved this store and always shopped there when I was visiting from Connecticut but alas, no more. It’s closed its doors

My husband loves shoes, specifically Aldens, and always wants to come in here. It is very high end with a very professional staff.

This is a rare gem of a shoe store, selling Aldens, Loakes, and many other notable top quality brands. Shoes are their specialty, they offer some impressive exclusive makeups that you’ll only find in their store. If they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, you can talk to the staff and see about doing a special order. AWESOME. Additionally, they sell many other gentleman’s products like clothing, shaving products, and colognes. Like I said before, these types of shoe shops don’t exist everywhere, and should not be taken for granted. The location is prime as well, set within walking distance of the inner harbor and little Italy.

I stepped into the store on a Saturday afternoon. I was in gym clothes… as are many in this neighborhood on a nice Saturday. One gentleman was staffing the store and was in conversation with the only other customer in the very small space. I usually expect to be greeted upon entrance to a retail establishment that is small and not crowded. The man working did not immediately greet me, nor did he offer any assistance. Although I was simply browsing, I certainly expected better treatment. He acknowledged me after I browsed fir a few minutes. The merchandise offered is of excellent quality, and it’s quite conservative. You’ll find no fashion forward pieces. The site selection was quite classic. Primarily Allen Edmonds and Aldens. You can’t go wrong with them. The prices were appropriate for the merchandise. I actually saw a great issue of pants that I would have purchased if I felt that the gentleman was as enthused about my potential business as he was about the conversation he was having. Looks like I won’t necessarily return. You never know who you may be ignoring.
