Loading Dock Discount Liquors

Weird Layout!
The liquors are organized by brand, rather than type. This confused me a lot when I was trying to compare different types of Chardonnay. Otherwise, decent prices. Service was not that great– as the employee was rather curt with me.

Came here to get some beer with a friend yesterday afternoon. Parking was fine (although getting out was a little tricky with the traffic). Selection was OK (I like Canton Crossing much better), but Loading Dock was more convenient.

It’s OK, certainly better than the closet sized Broadway places in Fells Point and cheaper then the yuppie horror that is Bin 604. But alas I prefer my liquor store experience to be a bit more shady but not quite the life or death situation that you get up on Rt. 40 at Cocky’s Lou’s.
Overall it’s probably the best option since Fleet Street Liquors ‘accidentally’ burned down a few years ago.

First time and they were very helpful. Prices, extremely competitive. Despite rush hour traffic, I was able to get in and out in 10 mins. A must visit

Rudest staff and worst organization of a liquor store ever. I live right on top of this place and go out of my way to buy beer, wine and spirits at other locations. Stay away and support other places that actually appreciate your business.

Close to home and they always got my drank! Pick up some lotto tickets too and I’m on my way!

This is a great liquor store. I used to stop at Canton Market, until their poor customer service quickly drove me away. The employees of Loading Dock are friendly, helpful, and the store selection is good (and prices are great!). Beware of almost no parking (I usually bike).

Overall this location has a great selection of beer, hours, and service.
Mircobrew selection is better than most locations around. The pricing is competitive, though liquor pricing is better than most — with a wider selection.

What? I’ve not yet reviewed? Unbelievable. I swear that every time I go to Baltimore, my first stop is Loading Dock.
Why? Convenient (though parking can be tricky), great staff, and cheap. I just paid $ 18.99 for 1.75 liters of Smirnoff. While that was the special that day, they usually have other specials as well. Plus, a great selection in both the full-​size bottles and nips. Definitely a great place to stock up.

Decent liquor store but I’m a little surprised at how highly so many people have rated it. The prices here are fair but the selection, especially for beer, isn’t more than ok in my opinion. I don’t mean to sound like I’m bashing the place because they’re a fine neighborhood liquor store, there’s just nothing that makes them stand out. If Loading Dock wasn’t in walking distance of my house I wouldn’t bother going.

Overall, small space but good selection.
We were visiting Baltimore for Christmas and we wanted to go duckpin bowling at Patterson Bowling center. We read the they have a BYOB policy so we were looking for a liquor store close by. We found Loading Dock, which was only a few blocks away. Their selection is great considering the small space they have. We went in looking for some craft beer but only saw a small cooler with some domestic beers. We must have looked confused because another customer informed us that there was more beer in the back to the left. We thanked him and walked back there. They had a some great choices so we picked up a six and went to the front. The lady at the register was very nice and she told us that they would be open on Christmas if we needed any more. She also offered us a candy cane. An offer that I took her up on :) We grabbed our six and happily went on our way to Patterson!

Very friendly staff, good selection, fair prices, and 10% off to military and public safety officials!

Great selection of liquor at really good prices. I stock up on cheap wines (used for cooking), Kahlua (I can no longer drink coffee without a good dollop of this fine potion), amaretto for making tiramisu, and Schnapps because… well, I just like Schnapps.
The store is very, very small. Aisles are quite tight and you have to maneuver around bottles, so be very careful when you’re going by that 150 dollar bottle of MacAllan, or you might find your wallet quite a bit lighter.
Parking very much appreciated; this neighborhood is one of those where you’ll be circling around and around for six hours looking for a spot. The directions are quite confusing, as it sits on a small sliver of land bordering four different streets, so using your GPS to find it may not be a bad idea here.
Staff is nice and very knowledgeable. They may not have what you’re looking for necessarily, but they’re always very apologetic about it. I think if you ask for them to order something in particular, they’ll probably give it a try.
Awesome place. I’ll be here again and again for my liquor needs. Well, wants, anyway; «liquor needs» sounds so bad. :-)

Who doesn’t like getting all the bang for their hard earned bucks these days??? Usually when it comes to liquor, there’s no such thing as a deal, but HERE! OMG — it’s a professional beverage-​ers dream (yes, I said BEVERAGE-​ER)!
The prices are really low, and it seems like the more you buy the omre you save! It’s like the Costco of alchohol! I bought… **bout to expose my inner lush** an egg nog liquor, Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey, a 24 case of Corona Extra, and a bottle of Cuervo Silver… all for under $ 75!!!
This place looks huge on the outside, but it was a kind of tight squeeze (like the parking lot!) inside, but its like they have everything! If you can’t find it — ask one of the workers — extremely friendly people! My co-​worker and I even got a complimentary hat they were giving out and one of the men carried my purchase out to my car!
It’s a little bit of a drive for me, but it’s worth the customer service and the great prices!

Haha! Yes, when you buy your drank here your credit card receipt does say Loading Dock Disco. Marvelous. Prices here are cheaper than most places around and they carry the 100 Proof Smirnoff. That drank can be hard to find. Folks here are always friendly. You would think that it’s much bigger from the outside but it’s pretty small once you get in. Parking can be tricky because it’s where Chester meets Boston meets Fleet meets Dallas streets. Y’all got that in there?
There’s a big picture above the front door with Bono and Boh back from when U2 was in town. Classy. Please don’t take that sign down, Loading Dock Disco.

I only come here when I’m in the area, but this is one of my favorite places to buy alcohol for parties. The selection is limited, but what they pack in here is quality stuff. The real kicker is that everything is very reasonably priced.
The older lady who works here is really friendly, so that’s also a plus. The parking situation can get tricky at times (Friday night) but I am glad they have a parking lot.

This is my spot. Not the hugest selection but I guarantee you will find something you like, and for dirt cheap. Seriously, you’d have to drink dirt to get a lower price. The hell with the product though, the friendly staff is what makes this joint shine. Oh, also, they have on sight parking, so you don’t have to double park and run in like a total douche.
Dogs are welcome to join you inside, and they even have treats for them from time to time.

It is the little things that really add up here. First and foremost, this place is cheap. I mean really cheap. 24 Yuenglings for 16 bucks… hell yes but it goes way beyond having a good selection and its frugal prices.
I walked in and was greeted by a woman giving out free Moosehead beer samples. I immediately ran outside to got my girlfirend to come in for it instead of just waiting in the car. Ok, so Moosehead isn’t that good but it was free beer and on top of it I got a beer bottle coozie and a Moosehead Pint glass and a key chain bottle opener for free out of it.
What really got me was that the 60+ year old «slightly» overweight owner behind the counter was chewing on his tobacco pipe and wearing a slightly ridiculous bright green Moosehead baseball cap.
The best part however is when I was looking at my credit card statement a few days later. It shows the charge as «Loading Dock Disco» How baller is that… I just got some beer but it looks like I was at some crazy Disco club at 1 PM on a Saturday.

best prices and selection of beer in SE Baltimore. Only 2 other places I know of that can even compete with them. Also, they carry Boh Ice, which is the closest thing to drinking nectar from the gods.
$ 10 minimum for credit card purchases.
