The go to for quick breakfast and lunch. Daily specials all day. Open buffet bar you pay by weight. Like all mom pa shops you go enough its like the get to know your name. And if you are good you will get a treat with your change. The chicken box is by far the best choice you can make. Extra crispy with a great favor. They have big pieces of fried fish on Fridays. From jello to fried veggies can be found on buffet bar. The shop is small but you will be able to find a tasty treat.

Linden Deli is never a miss. They have good food served at excellent prices. A great place to stop in for lunch. I love the catfish nuggets!!! BLT is delicious too. Breakfast items are always a hit! I can’t find anything bad to say about this place.

I sometimes come here for a reasonably quick lunch break. This is one part carry out salad bar and one part deli. When I say salad bar, I mean a salad bar with lettuce… and chicken wings… and other Chinese food options. I always see people at the take out«salad» bar but have yet to try it myself. Judging by the number of people taking it I will assume it’s worth a try. I usually grab a sandwich from the deli counter and run back to the office. There are no seats and it’s a small shop so it’s often packed full. The sandwiches are always decent and taste good to me. They always have a daily/weekly special which is a sandwich or half sandwich with fries and a drink for 5 bucks which can’t be beat for a cheap lunch. The staff is friendly and always gives me a lollipop when I check out. Worth a drop in.

Linden Deli, you did it. You got me hooked on those wings. You got me to write a really good review. You got me addicted to the baby tomatoes at the salad bar. You got me smilin’ cause your service is so good. I think I’m in love. I do still avoid the«Chinese Food» options because they are still sickeningly sweet for my tastebuds, but I come here almost every day for a fix. It seems like they keep the space more neat than they did a year or two ago, so I’m not scared of catching anything. About to go grab lunch, brb.

Ok so, I would have given this business 5 stars. At lunch time I purchased a hot veggie sub today for the first time from this carryout. To my surprise the sub was super delicious. Enough that I figured Hey, I can’t go wrong… So, I ordered one for dinner. Still delicious… NOT. Boy was I pissed. It was just so good the very first time. Each time I placed the order I placed it the same way. Hot veggie sub everything no mayonaise, no cheese and no mushrooms. Extra hots and HEATED. So, when its time to pick up the order and get it back to my desk I realize this sandwich sure is pretty cold. I thought maybe it was the tea and my bag. NOPE You guessed it… They made the sandwich incorrect… It was not heated. It had mushrooms on it. It was so not made like the first time. I go to return the sub and when I get back I discover that all they must have done was reheated the veggies that were on the sub. The bread was not toasted. It didn’t even have the same items on it as the very sub I purchased. Just when I thought that I would be returning again, I know will have to think long and hard. Is it really that complicated to make a veggie sub??? Who would have thought I would be sitting here so disappointed.

Korean owned — their buffet bar has some Korean items such as kim-chee, green beans with some spicy flavoring, tofu, jap chae. The cashier is friendly. Cash only if under $ 10. I like their variety of fruits and veggies from their buffet bar. Also like the chicken wings. It’s fast.

This place has adequate food when you’re simply looking for a quick lunch. Their fried chicken is okay and their sesame wings from their buffet are good if that’s what you’re in the mood for. I’ve tried all kinds of things from their price-per-pound buffet. I now just stick to a couple vegatables(try the sesamne and garlic spinach) and some of the baked tilapia. You can get a pretty solid and somewhat healthy meal there and still get out spending under $ 7.

I just want to say that I go to this place to eat at least once a week. I am going to say it now… I AMADDICTEDTOTHESESAMEWINGS!!! This is bananas, I have never had chicken that tasted like that in my life. There has to be something they put in that chicken because, this place has a line specifically for that chicken! I am very happy with the pricing of the meals and the portions you receive are also noteworthy. All-in-all this is a great place to have lunch, there is a big enough variety between the buffet and the made-to-order menu. Definitely a bang for my buck! MMMMM those Sesame Wings, those Sesame Wings! :-)

I just want to inform America that as I type this review I am still chewing my delicious lunch from Linden Deli. Yep, just popped a chip in my mouth. Now I just grabbed a crumb off my keyboard from my sandwich. Talk about a working lunch! I was working my gums eating my lunch, hear what I say? I stopped past this spot after seeing the reviews from two very enthused and satisfied young ladies and mainly after seeing that they offered a lunch special for under $ 5. This place did NOT disappoint. Today’s special was a turkey sandwich, chips(or doritos or pretzels or funyuns etc) and 16 oz soda for $ 4.69!!! *fainted* I got my sandwich made to order(which in itself is never a small feat) and this sandwich was chock full of YUM! The cook was not stingy on the lunch meat either! I was pleased with the set-up of this deli and, although I wasn’t attracted to the selections at the hot buffet, all areas of the buffet were clean as a whistle. The customer service was specTACular all around! There wasn’t much of a dining area(as you can see from my photo) but it’s okay because I just wanted my food for carryout anyway. There’s also a HUGE variety of bottled juices to choose from and a great selection of «sub shop» variety food options. You can’t beat a pay by the pound carryout PLUS sub shop rolled into one. I’m being told by my friends that the sesame wings are so good people go buy enough of them to make a $ 10 order so the next time I visit this deli(which WILL be soon) I may get them to let yall know how it is. Or just go find out for yourself! PS: Make a mental note of the business hours listed so that you don’t go when they’re closed.

One of my employees loves Lindens. I recommend ordering freshly prepared deli sandwiches or fried chicken. I’ve never been a fan of buffet style dining(fear of germs, food sitting out way too long, etc.) and the fact that the last time I ordered from the buffet the egg rolls were soggy with oil, and their chinese dishes were lukewarm at best. It can also get really expensive since the buffet cost is determined by the weight of the ordered food. I really enjoyed their turkey club sandwich, which fed me for a day, for under $ 6. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, and I got pickles and free chips.

Linden’s is worth the trip for the lunch specials alone. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a 16 oz. drink for just under $ 5. Why go to Wendy’s when you can get a real burger? All of their made-to-order sandwiches are great. The weigh and pay area has great selections too; I often see a long line for their sesame wings. The place gets packed between 12:30 and 1:30 every day with the hospital crowd and State Center crowd. But they’re good about getting people’s orders turned around quickly and sending them on their way. The staff is friendly, the environment is clean, and it’s a good place to spend money on a delicious lunch. They also have a very affordable breakfast menu that includes omelets. You may get better service in the morning if you order breakfast ahead of time, though. Check Linden out if you need something tasty.
