Great food, great service, great price. Stopped in before a show across the street and it was fast and delicious. The home made and home sliced bread was 10⁄10!

I stopped here earlier this month before attending a play at the Hippodrome. I ordered tuna on a ciabatta roll. It was awesome. I love tuna.

I walked several blocks to get here for breakfast. Surprise! The hours posted on Unilocal are incorrect. Heidi’s opens at 9:00am each day for breakfast; not 7:00. This is unfortunate. Many of us have to be at work by the time they open. Too bad.

Working at the hospital, you definitely get tired of the same old boring sandwich places. A coworker of mine turned me on to Heidi’s and it’s definitely a gem. I love a good Reuben and this one was exceptional. It was packed with meat and very reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend trying this place. You won’t regret it!

Typical Deli setting in terms of oven and bread available with an out of the ordinary selection of food. I got the BLT croissant but later realized it was not the healthiest option so I tired my friends egg salad hells kitchen sandwich and it was Ahh-mazing. Usually I never get the egg salad because it’s old just sitting there in most places but this was nice and fresh. I was satisfying my new health diet with that sandwich. The potato salad was great too. Overall, good. Prices were good. It was only $ 16 for 2 sandwiches and a coffee.

Phenomenal sandwiches! There are some interesting choices on their menu, so don’t be afraid to try something different each time you go. Start with the Cajun Turkey Avocado or the Coney Island Reuben. The Cajun sauce is probably clogging my coronary arteries up one by one but I can’t stop ordering it…

My boyfriend and I had a great breakfast here this morning! We stopped on our way home from Baltimore and the friendly employee ran outside to let us know that we didn’t need to pay for parking because it was a Sunday(we were unaware because we’re from out of town). Anyway we both loved our breakfasts! I got the veggie breakfast sandwich(I added egg to my sandwich) and it was so good. I wish we lived closer so I could have it more often.

WHY! Just why does this place have so many good reviews?! The girl was rude and we were not worth her time. The food was disgusting and bland nothing special.

Amazing bread and sandwich. We sat in the window seat before a show at Hippodrome. I’ll certainly remember to come again!

I am a fan of Heidi’s! It’s a low key deli on Eutaw St that is a great spot for lunch or breakfast. Their breakfast burritos and sandwiches are delicious and filling. I recommend getting the sandwich on a croissant which is ginormous. Heidi’s also has a good selection of hot/cold sandwiches and wraps to choose from. If you aren’t that hungry you can get a half wrap! All the sandwiches and wraps find with a pickle and either coleslaw or potato salad — love the potato salad. The service is also wonderful! This one time my friend and I went there for an early breakfast and the guy even brought us some complimentary fresh fruit! Also if you are a University Maryland student, you get 10% off if you present your ID!

Homemade bread!!! Get a sandwich! We got the awesome salad and fresh mozzarella sandwich. Everything was delicious but bread was extra delicious because it was fresh and homemade. There was one man(probably owner) working and doing it all. He was nice and helpful.

Ok so I’m not even a fan of deli sandwiches nor do I normally write reviews but I just felt the need to do so with this place. I was in Baltimore attending the Prince concert and was super hungry so I stumbled across this place right around the corner from the arena and decided to try it out. I had the turkey avocado Cajun sandwich and was amazed at the flavor of it all! I had it on wheat bread which was surprisingly not dry. I was only able to eat half and figured that it probably tasted so good only because I was super hungry at the time but the next day I ate the other half and still again was amazed. I honestly plan on visiting Baltimore again just to visit this place specifically! The only downside is that there isn’t a location in Beltsville.

I had back-to-back medical appointments with a bit of a «layover» in between, if you will, so my husband and I wanted to find some breakfast in the meantime. The only catch? I’m diabetic going through a VERY high-risk pregnancy, so my dietary choices are extremely restricted for the time being. So much for Mickey D’s, right? Heidi’s seemed to fill the bill nicely, as they had multiple egg dishes and lots of veggie delights — so we decided to stop here. We had the place to ourselves on a Monday morning(9am-ish), so that was a great start. The counter staff was extremely helpful — I explained briefly what I could and couldn’t have, and they steered me toward a veggie omelet special with meat on the side and a piece of toast. Perfect! Hubs, of course, has no restrictions, so he ordered a meat and cheese omelet with home fries and toast. Standard breakfast fare, really, but it was just what we were in the mood for. The food was good, but I think that if I’d had my way, I’d have grilled the veggies up before putting them in the omelet — they were a little crunchy for my taste, but no harm done. Filled me up quite nicely! Review is really 3.5, but I gave the extra half star for the service, which was above average. I’d come again and experiment with other menu items.

The cashier was sweet. I ordered the omelette with spinach, tomato and bacon, which came with a side of homefries and toast. All of the food was delicious. What made me give this place three stars instead of 5 is the fact that a fly was on the wall near one of the tables. Matter of fact, their were two. Until they’ll decide to get some fly spray or whatever else they’ll need to get, I won’t be coming back.

I ordered the corned beef sandwich(comes with a side – I got the cole slaw), a fountain drink, and a slice of cheesecake. Order total: $ 18.42. Now, the food was good. The bread was thick cut and baked in store. The corned beef was thinly sliced, but there was a lot of it. The cole slaw came in some tiny little container that I finished off in 2 bites and was a little bland. The cheesecake was fantastic. But was it worth $ 18.42? Absolutely not. I guess you pay extra to watch the employees get into a curse-laden, screaming fight with a guy who wanted some ice? Not really my idea of entertainment – I was more embarrassed or terrified than entertained. Unless prices come down, I won’t be back. It’s not that the food isn’t good, it’s just that there are equally tasty options within the block that aren’t so expensive. If you need me, I’ll be at Sidecar grabbing a slice.

When my lunch buddy and I need a sandwich — we go to Heidi’s because of its consistency. The service is good, the food is good, prices are reasonable, it is always clean… I have yet to be disappointed. It is a solid sandwich place and I LOVE the bread. The complaint my gf always has is there is *too much* meat.(no such thing).

Great little deli! Fresh bake bread and a wide selection I traditional deli offerings. For lunch this is an A+! Not sure why it’s star power isn’t higher. ;)

Now maybe I caught this place on a bad day. But. Hmm I have to say i was disappointed. Him– Italian submarine. His words«the bread was to hard and he’s has better Italian meat from subway» Me– BLA on Ciabatta(BLT but I hat tomato so I replaced it with avocado). The bread was very gummy, not Ciabatta like at all. also the bacon was very much non existent, and on to of the NO … I repeat. NO Avocado. The bag of chips they give on the side is literally filled with 5 chips. Now let me state this everyone that worked that day was very friendly and helpful. I can just think of other places to get a good sandwich.

I stumbled upon Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli while exploring for breakfast nearby, it was a weekend so a lot was closed. I ordered the Veggie Croissant sandwich. I expected it to be a breakfast sandwich and it’s more like a Vegetable cream cheese spout sandwich. Although not was I expected, it was okay.
