Harbor Vapor

Have been to Harbor Vapor about three or four times since it’s the closest vape shop to my house. They are always welcoming and the place is on the cozy side of industrial, but it’s definitely not the first choice for my vaping needs. I’ll explain why below:
–A few months ago my husband needed a new battery, an upgrade from his basic battery, and went straight to Harbor Vapes. The nice person there showed him some features for a minute or two, and then told him to read the manual. When that battery had an unfortunately swim in the Bay, we went somewhere else local to replace it. The person we bought the new set up from spent easily 20 minutes explaining various aspects of his new device and vaping in general. (It should probably be noted that we are relatively recent, six month, converts to vaping.)
–While taste is personal, I’ve never been able to find juice to my particular liking there. I assume that some people like their selection, but it’s definitely not what I’d carry in the vape shop in my mind.
–Their prices are out of line. I don’t mean like a few dollars higher – which I understand being in a relatively prime location and not some out of the way strip mall where many vape shops are located– I’m talking about jaw dropping, multiple percentage times higher. For example, I bought my Evod Mega kit at another local vape shop for about $ 25 or so. I needed an emergency replacement, and got one there for just under $ 40. I’ve recently been looking at Kanger Subox starter kit, which seems to run about $ 55 – 60 online. I understand brick and mortar stores being more expensive than their ecommerce cousins, but Harbor Vapes had them for a whopping $ 94!
I’m glad they are there in case I have a vaping emergency, however, given a choice, I’d go elsewhere.

Outstanding Customer Service!
I don’t write many reviews, but I felt for Sal and Harbor Vapors, I owed them one.
I was traveling on vacation with my wife and lost my EVOD. My wife isn’t aware that I’ve started vaping, so I couldn’t just stop at the nearest vapor store to pick up a replacement. To make matters more complicated, I wasn’t simply returning from vacation and resuming my normal routine, I had a business trip planned in Baltimore the very next day.
A quick search of Unilocal for a vapor store near my hotel in Baltimore revealed Harbor Vapors, so on a wish and a prayer, I emailed the store to see if I could arrange a purchase AND a delivery as I was scheduled for a full day of meetings upon my arrival to Baltimore.
Sal and his store staff were more than happy to help me out, take my order, and arrange a local delivery to my hotel. Sal stayed in constant contact with me to make sure I got my order.
I recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

Great shop INITIALLY. The owner, is super knowledgeable and helpful… but if he’s not there, good luck getting any real help. If you have «equipment» malfunctions, the employees will tell you there is nothing they can do and that you have to come back later. Which is fine, but it’s not the easiest place to visit over and over again when you should be taken care of when you come the first time. I’ve tried to run in and run out-​pressed for time and the staff is really unwilling to break away from their personal conversations about getting «f*cked up» and «wasted» the night before to help me. Will be ordering online from now on.

Harbor Vapor is an awesome store that has an amazing team, a huge selection of delicious juices, tons of vapes and hardware, and some banging merch as well. If you’re in Baltimore, definitely check them out!

Harbor Vapor is the best ! AND they are my at the last minute BARCStoberfest sponsor. They will have a booth at the festival as well as donating a gift basket for either the raffle or silent auction. The approximately 1000 pups and kitties monthly coming through BARCS doors are greatful! Sat.10/25 at Patterson Park… Fun for all, Adopt a new pet, stock up on your favorite vaping supplies! I love when local businesses support their communities.
