The Greek salad was adequate and so were the authentic gyros. Additional tzatziki was have earned an additional star. Good nighttime choice.

and my order was wrong. When I called the restaurant they were argumentative and rude. The girl I spoke to pretty much said they have been in business with eat24 for 5 years and it was my mistake that my sandwich came with everything on it when I only asked for cheese. The eat24 website gives no description of what the standard toppings are for a sandwich but instead has check boxes to indicate what you would like. They did not offer to exchange my sandwich and told me to call eat24 as it was their error. The only good thing about this place is the avgolemono soup… otherwise the food is mediocre and the staff is terrible. Will not be ordering from there again.

Ordered 1 hour and 35 minutes ago and still no food. No phone call. No apology. Nothing.
Who cares how good the food is at this point? Never again.

I’m a big fan of Greek Village Carry Out & Restaurant! Delivery service? Yep! Quality gyro? Yessir! The fries? Plentiful and scrumptious! Like many similar but less successful places in the area, they have a rather large menu that ranges far and wide, from Greek dishes to subs to pizza to seafood. I’m stuck on the beef and lamb gyro special, which comes with fries and a can of soda at a bargain price. M’lady has tried a number of different things with varying levels of success, and is a fan of their avgolemono soup. The sole down side is the unpredictable service time. The one time I ordered a soup on location it seemed to take inordinately long, and for delivery they’ll usually say «around 40 minutes» but sometimes have the food to us within 20 – 25 minutes. So thankful this place is nearby!

I’ve been ordering from these folks almost on a weekly basis for over a year and they’re always quick, nice, and very accommodating with my requests (I always ask for mushrooms on my salads and a cup of ice and they never give me a hard time about it.) The food? Some of the best Greek in the area. I’ve never had a better pork Gyro and they’re VERY generous on the feta for their salads and stuff. Please Please PLEASE support the heck out of this place. I want them to stay in business for a VERY long time. :)

Since my band has had practice space in Greektown for about a year, we’ve been going here at least once a week. Never been disappointed. The pork gyro is a lot like the gyros I remember from a summer spent in Athens (never saw a lamb gyro there, only souvlaki, nor the pressed beef/​lamb loaf common in the USA). The lunch special cheesesteaks are also really good, and a great value ($ 4.99, 11 – 3). Believe it or not, the pizza is certainly the best in the Greektown/​Alphabet/​Canton/​Highlandtown area (except Matthews, of course).
Highly recommended carryout, well above average food, great prices.
Only caveat is that there are a great number of drug addicts milling and gathering on the sidewalks out front, and sometimes inside, so I advise carryout only, especially if you have children.

I’ve ordered from here a fair amount. They have a really good cheesesteak wrap and cheesesteak sub. When you order from here prepare for the possibility that you’ll have to wait for over an hour. This has happened a few times to me, especially when ordering through eat24. I’ve called in a couple of times as well and the customer service when you ask questions has been rude and dismissive. They have good food, they are close-​by and they have free delivery. That’s why they get 3 stars. My experience with the employees as well as the long wait times prevents me from rating any higher.

We came to Baltimore to visit some friends we noticed on our way down there how many restaurants were in the area. Greek town grill happened to be close and they deliver so I ordered the souvlaki platter which was pretty good. Lots of food for a good price.

I got a lamb gyro here — tasted authentic and great although I wish the cashier didn’t call them «jai-​roes». The tzatziki sauce was a little too creamy and not tart enough for my taste but the rest of the fillings (especially the lamb) were ample and tasty. I would definitely come back, especially for the cheap price and value! There’s not much seating so plan accordingly.

The lamb gyro is over the top. I had ordered some for dinner and it arrived within fifteen minutes. It is also very well priced. I do recommend.

Super tasty and super cheap! The meat was extremely savory. I wish that the gyros had more lettuce in them, but the ingredients were quality and filling. The service was good and fairly efficient. Would definitely go back to this hole in the wall restaurant any day.

Haven’t even eaten here yet but I took one look at the gyro cones (yes TWO!) and I knew this place was legit. They look exactly like the best gyro I’ve ever had in my life, which was in a train station in Athens.
If you are ever taking a cruise in the Mediterranean and have a port of call in Athens, take the train into see the monuments and on the way back grab a gyro. I ORDER you to do this.

Solid, solid Greek Food at a very reasonable price. Generous portions. A lovely, friendly young lady to take your order.

Awesome gyro platter. Big enough to feed myself and small son. Feta cheese was awesome on Greek salad. Price for the amount of food was unbelievable.

Went based on Unilocal reviews. Neighborhood is kinda meh looking. Gal at the register was less than friendly.
We ordered chicken gyro, chicken skewer platter (2 skewers, rice, fries, small n fresh salad, and tzaziki sauce, 2 lemon wedges), and spanakopita. The spanakopita was amazing, delish!!! The tzaziki was awesome! The rice wasn’t bad but not great, pita was quite disappointing, chicken was well seasoned and tasty.
There are 4 tables and I believe 4 – 5 bar stools. The seating area was clean, bathrooms were clean. I expected more given these reviews but just wasn’t impressed. It wasn’t bad but not great either.

Best delivery for healthier options! I enjoy the chicken and rice. I love how they deliver to canton and I’ve never been unhappy with an order from there.

In any other neighborhood, they’d get 4 stars but this place is a god send to Highlandtown. Everything else that delivers over this way, besides chinese food, is garbage. The food is bad, they’ll lose your order, and take 2 hours to get to you on a Tuesday. It can’t be overstated how terrible getting delivery in this neighborhood was before Greektown.
The food is also pretty awesome. The beef and lamb gyro is basically perfect. The subs are standard pizza shop subs. Their fries are the like breaded crispy kind, and they’re good. The prices are pretty reasonable. I wish I could get a stromboli, but that’s nit picky.
I’ll be sad when they inevitably decide its not worth it to deliver over here.

Yummmmmmmm. Gyros, tzatziki, fries, souvlaki — all of it was great. Deserves all the amazing reviews & fab Unilocal ranking. This is good unpretentious Greek food. Yaya approved! Prices are great. Portions are huge.
Its def a hole in the wall with like 3 or 4 tables. I wish parking was better. We drove round & round for a good 20 mins to find street parking. I see a few defunct Greek restaurants nearby **tear. But I wish they’d move to one of those nicer bigger places & get a big lot. We’d be here every weekend. Probably not a great idea from a business perspective, but Unilocal is the outlet for my culinary dreams :)
This place is awesome. In fact this whole Greektown in Baltimore is really really cool & we should all do our part to keep it vibrant & in business. It’s def struggling, which is a real bummer.
Grab the family or some friends & come to Greek town, woman up & look for parking. Enjoy the yummy food here, then walk down the street & get baklava & some Greek coffee. Think of it as a mini outing to our local version of Athens.

The best Gyros I have tried in the region!!!
I moved to Baltimore around 6 months ago, and this has been my go-​to spot for gyros. First of all, this is one of the few places I have eat at that has the authentic Gyro just like in Greece – meaning its PORK and not the beef/​lamb cone. If you google or youtube gyros in Greece or authentic gyros, you will find videos and information.
I have tried the pork, lamb, and chicken gyros. They are all excellent, but the pork one is unbeatable! Anyone who comes here needs to try it!
My only disappointment is that they are closed on Sundays :(

We got the authentic pork gyros. They were good, not great. Just a standard gyro. The fries were really good. Get those.
The atmosphere is pretty bad. The order line backs up into the dining area and the clientele are pretty grungy.
