History

Established in 1988.

Formed in 1988 by 16 attorneys, Goodell DeVries has grown into two offices with more than 60 attorneys. Our growth has been fueled by clients satisfied with the expertise of our attorneys, and our ability to obtain the results desired by our clients in an effective and cost-​efficient manner.

Our firm’s offices are located in Baltimore and Philadelphia, but our firm is also active regionally, nationally, and internationally. Our offices are easily accessible from the Baltimore and Philadelphia airports, and by Amtrak.

Our attorneys handle a wide variety of complex and challenging matters. Goodell DeVries’ litigation resources are comparable to those in the litigation departments of the country’s largest law firms.

Ms. Woolf is the Managing Partner of the firm and one of its founding members. Ms. Woolf’s practice is devoted to the representation of clients in class action and Multidistrict Litigation, complex commercial, insurance coverage, construction, government liability, and employment litigation.
