1 star is generous. This is ABSOLUTELYTHEWORSTCVSLOCATION I HAVEEVERBEENTO!!! Only ONCE was there someone who could actually help me at the pharmacy. I’m forced to use them because my insurance company through my job has some deal with CVS. But the people at this store are horrible!!! They have no problem telling me they don’t have what I need and refuse to help me get my meds at another location. When I ask why they say it compromises the security of the store(Wtf does that even mean?). They constantly tell me they need 2 hours to fill a medication and I get home and its ready 5 minutes later. THEYHAVENORESPECT for their customers’ time or needs. I am so fed up with this store I cringe every time I walk through the doors. If you’re like me and stuck with CVS I suggest another store in the city.

I love CVS. The pharmacist there knows us, and always makes sure even if we order a Rx refill and then walk to get it.(and it is supposed to be done in a few hours)…if we can wait a few minutes, even if we are there within the hour… it is completed. Very friendly staff, and they always greet customers as they walk in. Yes, I know they HAVE to… but it doesn’t SOUND like they have to, and that is appreciated.

More or less clean and organized. It’s about what I would expect for an urban location such as this, and that’s after I had the low expectation following the missing«y» in «Pharmacy» over the front door and a sliding door that made a nice squeaky sound as we entered. Shelves were stocked and the few staff I saw were busy leveling and restocking.

The ONLY reason this store gets 3 stars is because of the front of the store staff. They actually deserve 5+ stars. I’ve been going to this CVS for over 9 years & would say that 90% of the people who have been employed at the FRONT of the store have been great. There was even a great pharmacist about 6 – 7 years ago. I love the super convenient location & when I do have to drive, never have an issue finding a parking spot. I have dealt with the same attitudes & glares from the pharmacy techs that obviously hate their lives as well as anyone who dares to drop off a script or(gasp) ask a question. I mainly dealt with it due to convenience. A few months ago I was advised by the pharmacist that she will no longer be able to fill 2 of my Rxs due to the amount of pills I get each month. They are pain meds & I got the impression that this was a completely personal decision. Fine. I’ve been a loyal customer with the same NINE scripts(not all are for pain meds) since you were prob still in school learning how to count pills but whatever. Half the time they weren’t in stock anyway. I’m happy to take my money elsewhere.(Note: Harris Teeter at McHenry Row is awesome! If they don’t have something in stock, they don’t give you attitude bc they have to order it. They genuinely care about you & want your business!) Here’s where I blow my lid… I decided to see if cvs could fill a non-pain med yesterday(Saturday) while I picked up a few items. The medication was in stock. It was not too early to get it filled but the tech(who I had never seen before) told me that CVS was no longer filling prescriptions written by my physician!!! Wtf!!! I still love, & will return to, the front of the store if I am in the area. I am moving soon & am rather torn. I don’t know if this is another«personal issue» of the pharmacist or something done by corporate. I can’t wait for Monday so I can call my doctor. PS — I called Harris Teeter from inside CVS& although they didn’t have it in stock… It was ordered & will be in on Monday:)
