Joseph Smoot established Smoot Brothers Transfer in 1946. Smoot launched Guardian Moving and Storage in 1952, which became one of the first local, Baltimore moving companies, providing local, long distance, and international moving services. They also specialized in providing long-term storage solutions for the Department of Defense.
Continuing the family tradition, Mario Smoot, one of the three Smoot brothers, decided to launch a moving service that would further meet the personalized needs of individuals, businesses, and agencies.
