Canton Crossing Wine & Spirits

This is a great place to shop for alcohol. They have a pretty good selection of beer, win, and liquor. The size of the store prohibits them from carrying everything under the sun, but they will most likely have something close to what you’re looking for if they don’t have the exact same thing.
Beer wise, they have a good selection of local craft beers, mostly in 6-​packs. Most of the popular breweries are represented: Heavy Seas, Union, Brewer’s Art, Flying Dog, etc. I also saw some from newer breweries represented like RAR and Manor Hill. In addition to the local stuff, they have the standard national breweries as well. While they have some large format beers, the overall selection is a little lacking. Another negative is that you can’t buy beer by the bottle or make your own 6-​pack.
You can also purchase and drink beer or wine while you shop. Their beer list rotates pretty regularly and for the most part seems to favor local breweries. They also do growler fills, both 32 and 64 oz. You can use one of theirs or you can bring your own.
Price is reasonable for the area. It is obviously more expensive compared to the county but the convenience makes up for it.

Really like this place, which is a pretty good and convenient alternative to my standby (Bo Brooks Lighthouse) if I happen to be shopping or dining in Canton Crossing and don’t care to make another stop. Solid selection of craft beer in the coolers, nice little bar area, and wine and various boozes as well. Staff is decent and friendly enough, though much more hands-​off than Lighthouse. That works fine for me since I know my beer tastes, but it is a tad odd when I’ve literally had a fellow customer there ask me for my recommendation since nobody with the store was approaching him to offer assistance!

Recently began patronizing this place and am really digging the selection, the staff, and the member perks!
If you ever think you’ll go here more than once, sign up for a membership! It’s free, and it gets you access to member beer and wine tastings that they hold every Friday and Saturday. It also lets you experience deals like their 6 for 60 deal where weekly they select 6 different wines (3 white, 3 red, one of each from California, Spain and France). Really nice options!
They always stock an impressive selection of craft beer options– including some nice 12 pack samplers of some, and tons and tons of the local options. It’s important for me to have a local liquor store that keeps in multiple options from each of the big local craft breweries! Especially the seasonal selections which they always have. It is a great go to in a convenient location!

The selection is great, and the staff seems knowledgeable… But the bags are amazing! We stopped in via limousine on our way to a Cidery in the county. It was a Sunday afternoon and needless to say some of our company in the limo were very hung over. Luckily the bag from here held up for a good 10 – 15 minutes as Courtney regurgitated everything she had had to eat or drink that morning. What amazing quality for a carrry-​out bag at a local liquor store! Lighthouse better step their game up.

Great place! They offer a nice selection of craft beers with available groulers. The beers change frequently and they have 2 size groulers. Not a wine expert but looks like they have a decent selection of various wines. They offer beer and wine tasting as well. If dont want a grouler they have a good selection of micro breweries in cans and bottles. Average prices for Canton

Great selection of wine, craft beer, whiskey, and other liqueurs. They even carry the Marsala cooking wine I needed for my pasta. Great service, beautifully organized, ample parking. 5 — star all the way! Ask about their frequent sippers club.

I used you all through Drizly to have a suprise beer delivery made to my Boyfriend while he was in town for a baseball game! You all were so accomdating thank you for all your help! Aaron the manager really put my mind at ease about the delivery to the hotel.

I’m definitely a fan and card-​carrying member of Canton Crossing W & S. I try to make it here every time I need beer. I really like that they offer growlers and mini growlers. Given that we are just a family of two adults, we don’t go through a big growler that quickly so the small one is perfect for a night. They are happy to let you sample all the flavors before you buy. For best results, try to rinse out your growler with hot water and dry thoroughly before bringing it back it for a refill. They have a nice, yet smaller selection of wines, whiskeys, beers, etc. They have it all. They also have a large cooler in the back of chilled drinks. When I went there the other day I was pleased to see that they had added one huge rack of «mixers;» all the fixins’ you need to complete a party night without also having to hit up the grocery store! And the biggest bonus of this place given that this is the city: OPEN ON SUNDAY!!!

A liquor store open on Sunday aka basically a unicorn in the Baltimore area.
We stopped here a few weekends ago after I read an article about the top 30 reasons or something you should drink tequila. Seriously. Apparently I’ll do whatever Buzzfeed and Elite Daily tell me to do. But, I don’t drink a ton, and when I do, it’s generally something that comes with an umbrella and tons of sugar, so I figured why not try something new. Tequila is magical for me apparently, because I can drink it straight, not die, and not be hungover. But back to the store…
It’s small, but has a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor, and at a variety of different price points.
Staff was helpful but not overbearing. There’s plenty of parking. Definitely a win.

This my new favorite go to store to stock up on drinks. Wine source in Hampden is great but too far for me. Ever since this opened it has really impressed me. Price wise they are about average but they have a rewards system so they at least give you something for your business. They also stay stocked with local favs. What adds a great dimension is that they have in store tastings every week. Beer, wine, and spirits. I went recently for a brandy tasting which was awesome. And while I was there they engraved a bottle of knob creek whiskey for free.(I still have it). The staff are very nice. Haven’t challenged their knowledge yet but theres still time. I’m near canton crossing and this will be my spot while I’m over east Baltimore.

One of the best liquor stores I have been to in the Baltimore area. Huge selection of beers, notably IPAs, and wines/​liquors. Also have cigars for purchase.
Another cool aspect here is that they have beers on tap that you can fill growlers with. Also can taste the beers on tap if interested.

I’m going with 5 stars here. Like pretty much everyone already mentioned you can get your drink on while you shop. I’m not into the whole growler thing but it looks way legit.
What’s great about this place is that it’s in a prime location, store is super spacious, and selection is great. They even have a cigar selection but I am not too sure how well the humidor/​cabinet is maintained.
They are open 7 days a week, more importantly SUNDAYS!!!
I think the prices are reasonable and selection is great. However, I would like to see more of the HIGHER end items. I think that would really set this place apart. What’s also good is the size and how spacious the store is. Unlike other place you can walk around here without fear or knocking down that bottle of Smirnoff you turned your back to.
They also have some sort of loyalty program. Not sure how it works but hopefully it’s not something crappy like spend $ 1000 there and get a $ 10 gift card. Probably need to check my spam folder to see if any details were emailed.
The craft beer selection is pretty legit and I’m working my way through it. I definitely think their wine selection is pretty legit but again would love to see more of the ultra higher end french wines.
Most likely not going to shop anywhere else.

This is my new go-​to liquor store in the Canton area! So, I appreciate wine and liquor as much as anyone else, but I’m primarily a beer drinker. Canton Crossing Wine and Spirits has an excellent selection of beers on tap and in store (including local brews) so I was totally sold! Despite its popularity, they even had Red Sky at Night at the end of the summer, which was a pleasant surprise.
The ambience is very modern and open, which I really like. I find the store very easy to navigate and I can find what I want easily (almost too easily).
I also get the newsletter via email and appreciate knowing what beers are on tap and what special events, like margarita making classes (!), are happening. Seriously love this place!

Love you can fill growlers here! SUPER friendly and don’t pressure you, seem to really want to ensure you get something you will love. It’s also great being able to samples the beer and wines in tap. They seem to have a bunch of unique items I haven’t seen elsewhere downtown.

First off: you can buy alcohol and shop here. Yep that’s right, get a pint or a glass of wine and start you alcoholic exploration.
Selection: it’s nice and priced competitively lower than neighboring liquor stores.
Spirt selection is greater than most locations and on par with Bo Brooks Lighthouse Liquor store.
Overall one if the best spots in downtown /​Canton Fells point area — 5 stars.

This isn’t just any ol’ wine and beer store, boys and girls. Let me share my secret with you — Canton Crossing Wine and Spirits is in a totally different league!
When you enter the store, at first you’ll notice how beautiful it is. You’ll see the large hardwood wine racks and the natural lighting penetrating through the glass windows, casting each bottle of wine in a radiant warm glow. You might choose to peruse the extensive selection of wine, or you might choose to venture to the back wall that is essentially one large refrigerated showcase of craft beer. Want something local from Flying Dog, Duclaw, or Union? Want to try a double IPA from a little known brewery in Maine? Or would you like to try some Belgian beer like Leffe or Delirium?
As you mill around in your agonizing state of indecision induced by so many fantastic options, a worker might then approach you. «Would you like to try some of our double IPA on tap?» he might inquire. What?! A liquor store with a rotating selection of wine and beer on tap, along with a TASTING BAR? You betcha.
Such is the tale of my evening a few days ago. I snagged a bottle of honey wine flavored with mango and peppercorn because honey wine is all too rare to find in liquor stores these days. Additionally, at the checkout counter, a worker suggested for me to sample one of the double IPAs on tap. The only way my evening could have improved is if I had actually purchased one of their growlers and filled it up, but alas, I had some more productive things to do later that night. Perhaps next time…
I am so happy that a store with so many interesting and unique varieties of wine and spirits has opened. Consider it similar to the Wine Source in Hampden or the Perfect Pour in Columbia, with slightly less beer and wine selection, but with the nicest workers and a greater sense of community.

Finally. A decent beer store in the city and just like the other said, they serve growlers at a very reasonable price. They have 32 and 64 oz growlers AAAAAND while you are shopping around you can purchase a pint if you like. Nothing like having a cold brew while perusing the liquor store. They have a pretty good wine selection and even a wall that is labeled $ 10-​$ 15 bottles. Nice price range there. They have a decent selection of 6 packs and a pretty small selection of beers in bottles. They need to improve the selection there in my opinion, however they were selling DGH 120 Minute IPA so get them while you can. The store also contained a good selection of hard alcohol. Basically this store has everything you need if you are throwing together a good time.
I would also recommend that if you have Facebook, you follow them so you can monitor what beers they have on tap. When I was there I snagged two growlers, one from the Lips of Faith series and the other was the Oaked Espresso Yeti brew. Both were delicious.
I will definitely be returning here. They also stated they will soon announce some special events and good, rare beers that are usually hard to find. CHEERS!

Finally a new liquor store in the neighborhood! The highlight is the growler fill up’s and tastings that occur. The liquor diversity is a bit limited but the store is well designed and has a decent selection of wine. A wall of pricing is a nice touch. The beer in the back is a nice mixture of your standards and craft brews. Overall it is a big space but I feel like they could have more selection. The staff is excellent and welcoming. I know it sounds like I was complaining but it is certainly the best spot for the price around.

Had to stop in on opening night (4÷8÷14) to see what this place was all about, especially once I heard they are selling GROWLERS!
Yes indeed, they have a small, walk up bar in the front window that has about 9 beers on tap. You can try as many samples as you want and then you can choose if you want a pint, 32oz or 64oz… I know for a fact the two larger sizes you must pay for the growler separate and then you can get them filed and refiled (I failed to notice or ask about the pint size option, it didn’t seem like a place to stand around and drink a beer, but it also seems quite a small portion to take home, but hey, you never know).
I asked if you can bring in your own growler, they said that since the sale of beer in growlers are new to the state of Maryland (only since July 2013) they are not legally allowed to fill up any growlers that are not their own… bummer.
The beer guy also told me that he will be changing the beers on tap monthly (or I guess once they run out) and will never have the same beer on tap twice.
I took home a 32oz growler of the Terrapin Mosiac Red Rye IPA… however the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter was calling my name, but my boyfriend hates Porters (good thing beer preference isn’t a deal breaker in our relationship, because we are not compatible in this category). The Terrapin was delicious though and we drank it all up that night!
They said 24hrs is the best timeframe to drink a growler, but can go up to three days, FYI.
Enough about the growlers… on to the wine… I really like how they have one wall that is under $ 15 (my spot)… and the opposite wall is under $ 25. It looked like they had empty shelving in the center area to add more stock in coming weeks, after all, they literally just opened. But they do have liquor and more wines! And a back wall of coolers for beer!
The owner also said they will be hosting wine tastings and such in the future, can’t wait to come back!
