Best late nite diner in the city. Worth the drive from downtown. Service and menu variety beats sip n bite by a mile. Also Broadway diner is much bigger so even if it’s crowded it doesn’t feel overwhelming or loud.

Awesome diner — fabulous service and extensive menu. The food is delicious and served promptly! Everything you want in a diner! We always stop here on our way north!

I’ve been here twice: once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was good, but breakfast was amazing. I had eggs Benedict, and it came with more food than one person could ever eat. I’ve never gotten dessert, but they have a case out front that is full of some of the most delicious looking goodies I’ve ever seen!

New management here now, and they’re terrible. Went in here for the first time. Asked the hostess if I could charge my phone. She didn’t even look up to acknowledge me then told me I couldn’t then when a manager came over to ask if she could help& the cashier said«I’m busy and she’s bothering me.» Needless to say, we left and won’t be returning.

I had THEWORST experience at this place. We came here with my family who eats here often. I ordered a salad with NO Bleu cheese and ended up getting one with Bleu cheese. I asked the waitress to exchange or take it off the bill since cheese makes me sick. She had to get her manager for some odd reason. Here’s the insane part: They made the waitress PAY for my salad!!! I took two freaking bites out of it and SHE had to pay. The management here is terrible. Our manager, Nancy, had a disgusting attitude and was so rude and unprofessional. Not to mention her appearance was nauseating. She should NOT be a manager here. I’m reporting this business to the better business bureau to make sure they get a bad rating. Horrible! Our waitress was awesome. Unfortunately, she was in tears because her manager yelled at her and humiliated her in front of a Sunday crowd of people. I’m sickened by them!!! DONOTGOHERE!

I don’t know why all the good reviews. Aside from a convenient location there is nothing good here. Service is rude, inattentive, and forgetful. The food is very low poor quality. We tried dishes from breakfast items to lunch burgers and stuff. No taste, greasy, disgusting.

I’ve been to Broadway countless times! From late nights, to early mornings, early evenings and breakfast in the AM. THEGOOD… –easy to park –open 24⁄7 –menu offers something for everyone(huge menu) –disco fries are the best –best diner fries around –usually get seated promptly –service is usually good –reasonable prices –large portions –huge dessert case –bathrooms are clean THEBAD… Can’t really think of anything bad right now… I’ve always had a pretty good experience. Four stars because the food is good, not great.

Caveat: I live in an area with some of the top voted diners in the northeast. I also visit family who live near the same. So my viewpoint might be skewed a bit. Cool spot with really super friendly employees who offer a fun, kind time. I wasn’t wowed by the food we had(Juicy Lucy, Disco fries), but that PB shake was STELLAR! Ample portions for the price. Good mashed potatoes. Odd area to drive through at night… but still a cool joint. I wish I had been there on a different day to try their specials. A-Ok diner, that I’d likely semi-frequent if I lived in the area.

I’ve been here a bunch of times, but I came today with a party of 10 for my boyfriend’s Birthday. Besides having great food, the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. Thank you so much! I’ll be back soon!

Not impressed. Barely average food and service is sub par. For the price the food should be much better.

The menu is like a novel! Prepare to be quite confused at what to order because the options are vast. I started with a glass of wine which came in a fancy plastic glass. And after much thought, opted for the special for that day, the chicken and shrimp paella. It came with either soup or salad and I chose a lemon crab soup which came with the most yummy sweet bread. It was similar to Hawaiian sweet rolls and tasted like heaven when you dipped it into the soup. The paella came out piping hot! Think everyone burned their mouth when they tried it haha. I barely got to eat enough before everyone else was all done. It was pretty good though and came with a lot of chicken and a good amount of shrimp. Although, the shrimp was a little overcooked. Fiancé got the monte cristo sandwich. The fries were nice and crispy but the sandwich was lacking. It did not have enough meat in it and the bread seemed to be just buttered and grilled. It was like more of a grilled cheese sandwich with a little bit of meat in it. Our server was nice and checked on us frequently but she seemed to rush us a little bit. And asked us if we wanted dessert before dinner and brought us boxes before some of us were done too. The place is 24 hours though and they have a lot to choose from. Would recommend if you’re out late and your options are limited.

I’ve worked by this place for 5 years and today was the first time I came here. I’m glad I did, but I don’t think it was as good as others say it is. Maybe, for once, Guy Fieri was wrong! Or maybe I need to try something else. I came here with a friend and her baby. They were very accommodating and sweet to the baby, which was refreshing. I got an egg and ham burrito, which was just average. There was a bountiful amount of eggs in the tomato wrap, a few squares of ham and strips of onion. I could have made it at home just the same. The potatoes were nicely crisped, but were kind of tasteless. My friend got a Greek salad. The salad had lots of cukes, feta, olives and domaldes. I’m picky about domaldes because I’ve had really good homemade ones. These ones were canned. But the salad looked okay. We both got iced tea. It tasted like the off brand of Lipton– so gross that no amount of sugar, Splenda or sweet-n-low would change the horrid off brand taste. The service was quick. But not sure the food was that delicious that I’ll be back. We shall see.

Normally I would give this place a 3 – 4 stars but after today and the absolute stupid«rule» that they have, I wish I could give zero stars. My boyfriend and I walk in ready for some yummy breakfast. I had a workout bottle with water in it. The hostess tells me I can’t bring outside drinks. Why?! I tell her it’s just water and she says it doesn’t matter. What if I had my 3yr old nephew with me who likes to have his own water bottle with juice in it? What if he was drinking Pedialyte? I could understand if I had a soda bottle or was bringing food inside, but water? I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Huge selection and even larger portions — Broadway Diner has something for everyone and you certainly won’t leave hungry. Granted I may have been intoxicated when I ordered my scramble and blueberry infused pancakes and yes, I did get a strange look when I ordered all of this in one seating, but damn was it worth it. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were fair, but the pancakes were perfect — roughly basketball sized and overflowing with blueberries(as requested). My only issue was the tea I was served — the honey they kindly gave with the tea was sloppily placed into a container and thus honey instantly became stuck to everything — what made things worse was when I would pick up the hot water container and the black ring /heat guard began to stain my fingers instantly. Had I not have to deal with these little issues, I may have enjoyed my meal more, but everything was just sticky and I began to lose my appetite quickly. I would like to return and try some of their other dishes — jambalaya for example looked amazing, as did the wings. 3 stars.

What’s not to love about Broadway Diner??? I’ve had the Monte Cristo as well as the Chicken Philly cheesesteak and both we’re absolutely delicious! The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are large so you will leave here one of two ways; extremely satisfied or extremely satisfied with a doggy bag. I was an advocate of diners until I had a bad experience at Nautilus Diner in Timonium. After being charged $ 1 for each slice of lemon(I had two lemons) I was done with diners. My parents took a trip to Broadway and recommended that we give diners another try and we were not disappointed. If your looking for a nice, quiet, family atmosphere with delicious foods and desserts(the strawberry tart is amazing!) look no further than Broadway Diner!

Let me start off by saying that I think that all diners serve disgusting food that comes out of a frozen bag and is cooked in the microwave. I avoid diners at all costs. I would rather eat at home than waste my money at a diner. Ok now that I’ve gotten that out the way… I decided to try this diner because of rave reviews from my in-laws. I didn’t realize until looking at the menu that this diner was featured on Guy Fieri’s show. I ordered the Hungarian Goulash which was recommended by Guy Fieri. It was shockingly amazing! The picture doesn’t look like much but looks are deceiving. The dish was packed with flavor. It was served with a sweet-tasting cheese bread that is among the top breads I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Believe me when I say this diner is not normal. This is by far the best diner I’ve ever eaten from. Kudos to the chef, he or she is amazing! For dessert I ordered the strawberry fruit tart. Again… amazing! Good service, fantastic food at cheap prices, open 24⁄7. You can’t beat it. We will definitely be back.

Wow. Was very impressed by the food and service at Broadway Diner! To put things in perspective, I strongly dislike diners. I feel that the vast menu lends to poor food quality. I also feel like the service is typically very off putting. Broadway diner proved both of those sterotypes wrong. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She knew what ingredients were in each sauce. She was attentive and constantly refilling not only our coffee but our creamer as well. The seafood jambalaya was absolutely salty seafoody goodness with a GENEROUS lobster tail(yes, an entire tail), many average-sized scallops, and several XXL shrimp. DELISH! The portion was also huge and I had lunch the next day :) The chicken and waffles on the regular menu(not the Tues-Thurs menu) was chicken tenders(boneless) and 1 large waffle. The chicken tenders were about average but the waffle was perfect with a thin crispy layer on the outside and chewy/soft on the inside. The dessert display was horribly huge, temping, and chocolatey. We didn’t have room but will be stopping by soon to try the Boston Cream pie!
