Started as a small comic store in Hampden. Now, we are a comic, toy, and book store with a developing Healing Center in the basement. We are currently located in Govans, right across the street from the Senatot Theatre.

If you want the comics, graphic novels and other esoteric items the best place to go is Amazing Spiral. I have always had the greatest experiences buying there. The store has many inter– activities ranging from Magic the gathering to various clubs and their weekly fairytale meeting for the kids. The owners are extremely child friendly and wonderful. I’ve been to many different comic book stores but NONE have the unique qualities of Amazing Spiral.

As far as gaming stores go, this place really has exceeded my expectation. It holds non-​competitive drafts of Magic the Gathering (card game) for new and younger players.
This place is better than most stores due to its population of experienced gamers ready and willing to teach newcomers.
The owners also do several events that serve the niche communities of Baltimore. Definitely worth a look if you are near Baltimore. Look for Spiderman across from the Senator movie theater!

My SO surprised me by taking me here and I think it’s pretty neat! They offer some holistic healing class downstairs and game nights on various nights. From comic books, graphic novels, to rando toys– Amazing Spiral has it… along with interesting clientele who aren’t shy to share their favorites.
