All About Drains LLC

After speaking with someone from All About Drains at 4pm we were told someone would be out within 2 hours. No one came by 8pm so we called them back, no one answered the phone so we left a message stating that we were told someone would be out. The next morning someone came at 930am. The man immediately had an attitude stating that he couldn’t do ANYTHING until he was paid first. We rent so we put him in touch with our landlord. They claimed they fixed the problem from outside of the house. Less than a half hour after they left my basement bathroom flooded again. We called them back and they stated that the guys would be back out. Unfortunately hours later they spoke to our landlord and told him they were not coming that they snaked out to the county line. They never did anything from inside my home so I don’t believe they actually got the clogged area to begin with. These company is very unprofessional. They want paid but they don’t do the job correctly. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The first day went well. They came within an hour of the estimated start time. Everything went down hill from there. I had multiple issues. The first (the reason I called them) was taken care of the first day. I explained to them that I was thinking about putting a bathroom downstairs. They said they could do the rough in and would charge me an additional $ 1200 for that and to move my washer lines. They also said that the water heater needed to be replaced and charged me an additional $ 900 for that. Turns out that wasn’t the issue for the additional water problems I am having. Well they dug up my basement that first day and left before they put cement down. They also unplugged my sump pump and didn’t plug it back in before they left. Luckily we caught it before the basement flooded as it rained cats and dogs that night. The next day they were an hour later than they estimated. They laid the cement and finished some odds and ends. They unplugged my freezer for some unknown reason and left it unplugged. They said that they had to come back on Monday morning to finish the utility sink and the washer lines. They didn’t show on Monday morning. We finally called them at 1pm. They said they would be there by 4pm. At 6:30 they finally showed up. I asked the person who answered the phone if they were going to take all the trash (water heater, cement, old pipes) with them And he said yes. Well, they weren’t done on Monday either. Said they had to come back on Tuesday. Monday night it rained and rained and rained. My basement flooded. Turns out they never plugged the hole from the old broken pipe. No real apologies just a «we overlooked it» comment. They are done and I still have all the trash that the owner assured me they would take. $ 4100 dollars for a half assed job and I treated them right. Donuts, coffee and pizza for lunch. This was supposed to be a $ 1800 job but I let them talk me into more. Don’t bother with this company. I had a dozen broken promises and no real faith that they would get the job done right the 1^st time.

Found several things missing after this review. I would seriously find another plumber before letting these people in my house.

I am giving a two star due to the customer service aspect of my experience. The actual repair of my sewer line was done efficiently, and although I do believe it was more costly then other options in the area, it was an emergency.
From what I can tell, this is a family run business. I always like to support local, small businesses. I also like when I am treated with respect especially when I’m paying many thousands of dollars for a job. That was not the case here.
There was a disagreement /​misunderstanding regarding the terms of the contract after the job was completed (do they come back and tamp down and fill and seed or do they not). After three months of no reponse (it was winter, I gave the benefit of the doubt), I called and was met with slow service, no follow ups, and frankly, lies. When the company did send someone to fix the issue, it was a joke. They threw grass seed and hay on top of hard soil. When I tried to have a professional conversation with the owner about this, he was quick to cut me off and say they are not a landscaping company — a fact I clearly understand, I just wanted them to finish the services that were included in writing and in the high cost I already paid out. He refused to do anything more, and also refused to refund me any portion of my money, told me to take him to court and hung up on me.
So, If you feel like dealing with an unprofessional service provider, give them a call.
I am grateful for the prompt service and the lifetime guarentee they claim to offer, but I would not recommend this firm to any of my family or friends after how I was treated.

This is the most unprofessional company in the ENTIRE STATE of MARYLAND. Pls don’t be fooled by the cheap prices b/​c you get what you pay for. The customer service that’s displayed by this company, the owner Rodney specifically, is down right unprofessional. Consumers want to get quality work and mostly importantly phenomenal customer service and this company isn’t it. Don’t waste your time or money. I would not recommend this company to a friend!
